I love Clarice and Lorenzo, always have and always will, we have seen them forced in an arranged marriage, we have seen them falling in love, falling apart, and now we have also have seen their deaths. I knew this was coming, I mean... it's history, like last year I knew what would have happened with the Pazzi conspiracy, but I was not prepared for this. The way they declared their love to each other, the intensity especially of episode 7... and then WOW, the chills I felt at the ending with Lorenzo's death and the end of the "golden age" of Florence... I do not really have the right words to describe how much I have loved the ending of this show about the Medici: showing Botticelli and his masterpiece "The Birth of Venus", alongside with Leonardo, Michelangelo even Machiavelli!! This is what this family left us, this was their legacy: beauty, and for that, we are all forever grateful.
