The Clarion Hotel is a very new hotel in Helsinki. It is a bit off the center, but the tram stops right in front of the hotel and brings you direct into the city center and also the exhibition center. The port area around the hotel creates a kind of cool ambiance, although there is still some constructions going on around the hotel as this is a newly developed area. The hotel has a very modern ambiance. Rooms are a bit small and quite unimpressive, but beds are comfortable and bathroom size is fine. Best thing in the hotel is the rooftop bar that offers views all over Helsinki and serves very nice drinks as well - during the weekend it can get crowded here. Another plus is the rooftop outdoor pool, which is a bit small in size but it is partly hanging over the building with a glass floor - so very cool. Also Sauna and gym area are good. Had also a lunch and a dinner at the hotel, which were both very good.
