My 18 yr old son is just beginning his journey into Mobile Audiophilia, signals will begin their journey in a *near mint* condition Clarion DRZ-9255, haven't made final decision on the processor yet though leaning towards Audison Bit One, then signals will travel to two separate A/D/S amplifiers, PQ10 and PQ15.2 and a single Precision Power P1000.1. Here is where the fun begins... The PP P100.1 will feed a single Image Dynamics iDMAX12 D2V4, this part is finalized, it is the front stage which is up in the air. Either going with DynAudio 3-way setup, with 8" Midbass in doors, then roll midrange and tweeters in custom fabled a-pillars, or we dive off into something I have planned over and over in my mind since I was in college during the late 1980's-early 1990's, HLCD's under the dash, 8" midbass in the doors and likely shoehorn in some 10" woofers in rear passenger side panels. Whichever route we take, the DRZ-9255 will be feeding his processor, amplifiers and speakers arguably the cleanest signal possibly achieved in the mobile environment.
