Clarion produce sound in CD mode is better than Ipod files. My ear is tell to me. But i like how to intergrade AUX in HX D2

Hey man, I have a old Clarion DRX-9255 and I've been trying to figure out how to connect an aux cord into the optical input thats used for the multi-disk changer. Is there any advise you could guide me with in figuring out how to convert it?

Do you have schematic on how this is done? Pin layout and which connection points on the Drz9255? I have the same radio and would like to do the same. Thanks in advance;)

+Ruben Saenz true unless you rip it lossless which itunes cant rip lossless unless you install dbpoweramp or another 3rd party software to be able to use apple lossless, He probably ripped them at 256 kbps VBR which is the default or lower probably at 128kbps. also the ipod he is using uses a really cheap cirrus DAC compared to the Clarion HX-D2 which uses 2 Burr browns DACs and they sound so much better and it can play higher sampling rates which the default ipod software cant play.

Omg... Just look at the headunit in the video... It is the D2 You can see it... And this color was not available on the D3
