Hi Reggy, you done well with that garage had your moneys worth there. May be a new garage build next year, Extend your workshop in to a new build garage, more storage shelves for more jars of nut, bolts, nails, washers ,just a thought. take care mate👍
You could tie a rectangular tarp over the top of what you have. That would stop the sun damage from getting any worse, make it water tight again, and if it is tied down snuggly, it won't move as much when it "breathes" and that would reduce the wear against the pipes. OR Maybe you could buy a replacement fabric part and put foam pipe insulation on the pipes where the rubbing happens. Then your new fabric will last even longer.
