The fact that they ensured that Clarke still lost everyone she truly loved, namely her soulmate and daughter... it would have been more fitting for everyone to transcend but Clarke dies so that we see her reunite with Lexa in the afterlife.

In the end Clarke was relieved she wasn't alone. Not happy. She deserved better. She deserved happiness. She'll never truly have that. Only relief to her pain. She never got a happy ending like everyone else.

That was sad. I love Clarke and Maddie. I also cried for Them. I really wanted Maddie to be in the series finale. I love and miss this show so much. No other show will ever be this great. ❤❤ Great show and great cast. The best ever. I'm really sad it's gone. May we meet again. ❤❤

I hated how they ended this show!!!!....until this video! I have no children, I could not sympathize with Clarke's plight. This is both touching and enlightening!

Maddie knew that living there with someone her own age was something Clarke wouldn’t have wanted for her. Not she knows. She knew. Past tense. If it was supposed to be a happy ending they failed to stick the landing.

To be honest, I was crying until the "Zum Bearbeiten tippen" showed up and I felt really confused for a second because I didn't even recognice my own first language for a good ten seconds because of the tears. Regardless, Clarke telling Madi to let go and that Clarke would be okay without her really broke me and hurt me on a different level. I am not okay. Thank you for this beautiful edit. It's really wonderful.

Anti-climactic. It would have been far better for the flame to be reconstituted into a new flame. This being put back into Madi, reviving the commanders. Have Madi be the one to stop the fighting, pass the test to spare humanity and open the gate ways to the stars, and bring in sanctum and the disciples as two additional clans. Bellamy and Echo would marry. They go back to the Ice Nation. Octavia and her guy go back to Trikru. Clarke be by Madi's side as mother and aid to the Commander. Murphy and Omari go off to live in Sanctum and help there. Raven would be engineer and gatekeeper to the other worlds. Each clan contributing to this new network of Humanity. All rebuilding, because now there is peace. Anyone think that might be better?
