@from the dark side of the moon I came to Australia to start a new life and found it very easy here. Swearing and strong language, yes you do hear that but not more or less than anywhere else I suppose.
"Americans are good at herding bison and that's it" Jeremy mate.... no we're not... we have nearly made them extinct MULTIPLE TIMES! we are good at destroying beautiful things and THAT is it
yeah like how your former president destroyed two nice towers and a beautiful well-made plane and your current president destroyed the stocks of fake tan. (its a joke yes. or is it... dun dun dun)
He was trying to say that Chevrolet used to need Australian engineers to work stuff out for them. And IT'S TRUE that plenty of GM syuff was designed here. SAME WITH FORDS. After ford realized that engineers in Australia get 3 times the amount of work done in the same hours compared to their American engineers.

To all Americans watching it - you do know that part of Jeremy's insults about you is all done for reaction and comedy. Yes, there are things he dislikes about Americans, but deep down he does have some respect for you, otherwise he wouldn't have signed up with Amazon Prime (well maybe the multi million dollar contract persuaded him)

For those who are sane enough and have somewhat decent brain processing power, I'd say they know what a stereotypical joke is. Every race, every nation has its own quirkiness, or downside, or something that they excel that is used in stereotypical jokes. It's people who are easily offended over anything that's the problem and need to grow up.

I don't mind Clarkson doing his "I hate America" routine on his TV show, it makes him money. When the RU-vid Euro-trash take him seriously is when I just go thermonuclear and drop the "Remember WWI and WWII much?" and walk off the stage. USA, USA....

@@geerenmo What a load of crap... The poms (as always) were writing cheques that they couldn't cash. Part of that 'royal worshiping', entitled attitude that comes with resting on the laurels of their forefathers. I'm not an American but can sympathise with the yanks, because of all the British led, anti-American propaganda that they have and still are being bombarded with. And as for Clarkson, he's just another puppet in this process. Hi from within the belly of the beast!
Not really, just the poms... Something to do with independence from the British Empire's parasitic yoke I reckon. Poms still can't handle it because Americans showed thd rest of the world how to do it, and lost a lot of the con-mans-wealth (commonwealth) thereafter. As an American, the guy has a point about Americans being ignorant. You’re basically a genius here if you know basic algebra and basic geography. Most of Americans that haven’t been in high school in years can’t even point out European countries or even know they actually exist.
Yeah very true, if I asked 1000 americans to point out say ukraine on a map they wouldn't even know where to begin to point, but then they would promptly try and educate me on the goings on in the country
You're not joking. I'm from Southern Appalachia, which is in the US. But if I tell that people from another part of the US they have NO CLUE what I'm talking about. They think I must be from Canada or something, and I have to explain that the Appalachian Mountains stretch from Alabama to Nova Scotia and make up more than 30% of the Eastern US population. If you have a standard HS education in the US, you're considerably smarter than the average American. If your education level is ANY higher than that, you're a certified genius. It's actually pretty sad.
