Lisa needs to convince Clarkson to go and do more shows. I accept that the Grand Tour is done for good, but the world needs more Clarkson content than just the Farm and Lisa needs her vacation. It's a win win.

No chance of it being cut, it brings in way to much revenue to axe. They said it maybe cut to appease the Snap intsta twatter woke brigade after Clarksons comments. But because the Snap Insta Twatter Wokes have a very short attention span and something far worse popped into there phones 20 minutes later, they've forgotten about Clarkson already

Would have made more sense for Richard to do this. More interesting. More entertaining. A proper gift giving of him meeting up with Jeremy, the hand off, the expressions, the laughs. This was less exciting than watching a mail truck drop off a package.
i agree with the sentiment of being in a happy place in a car you like just toodling along. ive been building and driving mk1/2/3 vws for over 20 years. my current daily is a mk3 5door golf that i did a vr6 swap on several years ago. h&r suspension, techtonics/magnaflow exhaust, k&n intake, neuspeed strut bar and cold air box, real bbs wheels from a mk4. it's quick, fun, looks great, and hauls my kids and groceries like a champ. when it's just me, i turn up the 2400w stereo and just drive. it's like im teleported to a different world. the intake snort of a vr6 is among the best sounds in all of the motoring world. up there with a flat plane v8 ferrari, or a v12 lambo, or the yell of a straight 6 jag. it is my own little slice if automotive perfection that i built myself. i cant wait to finish my next little slice of car heaven? (1982 vw caddy pickup...)
The subscribers of the channel might know who she is but they obviously want to attract more viewers outside of that. More people know Clarkson than her so using his name is an obvious choice to bring in more clicks.
Its crazy how much fuel these cars use and how far engine tech has come along. My honda with a 2.0 turbo making 400 crank hp does like 35mpg on the highway...I average 31 over the last 40k miles.
They could do a recreation of Fawlty Towers and call it “Diddly Towers”. Jeremy could be Basil, Hammond as Manuel and James can be the drunk old Major in the bar. We need special guests to visit the farm and get involved each episode / interview- we also need some concerts on the farm , charity events etc etc - I actually think the Farm + Pub could really develop into lots of great entertainment

I agree 100% on the sentiment that the Subaru Impreza STI and the Lancer EVO should be side by side. They are icons of a generation and BOTH are Heros in my book. I have owned 4 Lancer Evo's over the years and I would be proud to have an STI in the driveway as well. I respect BOTH equally. The Evo just was a better fit for me overall, but the STI is an amazing friend to the Evo for sure👍
I drove a GTV like that daily for 5 years 2 gear was never a issue Once you get to know the car, also have had a Civic VTI difference car but also great.
Re: indicator and wiper switch location. I have cars with both types, and it's not hard. It's just instinctive. Maybe the different interiors remind me which is which? Dunno.
RIGHT SIDED INDICATOR STALKS are the best! JDM got correct!! Changing gears while indicating is more important than changing gears while washing the windshield.
Scandi Flick is my fave episode of The Grand Tour. Have to say I honestly gushed and teared for that EVO, what a tough resilient puppy.. and I'm generally more a fan of 'Rexes. Hammond as a waiter for Jeremy's upcoming pub🤣.. I'd definitely watch that💯
id own an EVO 7 for track days and being a Hooligan and id have a WRX for my Daily and car shows... they each have a bit of a nod in opposite directions no need to choose. both are A+
They may be dissolving their production company and ending Grand Tour, etc. etc. We knew that was coming. But these 3 will never be truly apart. We are going to see so much more fun over the decades to come.
As I recall, the EVO overdrives its rear wheels to counter oversteer so that could account for the 2 mile variance. If the speed sensor is off the rear wheels that is.
I know the fuel struggle. My Dodge RAM 5.7 HEMI says it averaging 16-17mpg Imperial but the fuel gauge moves before I get out of the driveway on 89 Octane.
Love these cars. I replaced my Evo VI with an STi RA and can confirm the STi was way more thirsty then the Evo. That said, I tend to drive the RA harder more of the time for the exhaust note alone.
