For clan wars in Egg Roll City, we donate giants and they serve as a meat shield so if we need to get rid of the enemy clans CC troops, we just drop a dozen archers

I've also lost a battle because of 4 Valkyries in the castle, they've killed all of my attacking ground troops in a few seconds :(

Valkyries actually are great for defending, they can take out a ton of archers in a single blow and they can take out giants in a few hits depending on their levels but overall they do a lot of work.

Well I think it depends who you are up against in clan wars, it'll do work on defense if you are up against townhall lvls 8 and below

I'm in a clan war right now, and I'm trying the hog rider attack for the first time and my hogs are only level 1! But I'm doing it on a under-graded town hall 8 base. I REALLY hope I'm going to win

I like dragons because they don't get phased by lightning spells :) I also try to donate wizards, for a similar reason

all you need to take out witches is a few barbs. just got to get them far enough away from the defences. they die so easily with barbs dropped right on top of them

If theres a dragon in the clan castle it wipes out your swarm of ballons so you kinda do have to care about to clan troops

Just had a clan war where we had attacked 30 times and had 39 stars and the enemy had attacked us 34 times and had 47 stars, I thought we'd lost until 3 members of our clan did some solid raiding and managed to out us at 47-47, I had a clan mate message me on Facebook saying get online and raid so I got on then another clan mate attacked and then we were winning 48-47 stars with 5 minutes left. I thought I better make sure we win so I raided this town hall 10 with 2 multi infernos using the GOWIPE strategy. I finished off the town hall then was contemplating ending the raid to save my kings health but I thought na I'll let it play out and try and get 50% to get 2 stars. I got the two stars and then found out the enemy raided and had gotten 49 stars, if didn't leave my troops in the battle and didn't get the star we would have lost, definitely an intense War @

I had a clutch victory today in clan wars. We were down by 1 trophy. So I atked one of their lowest players who was previously one stared. I 3 stared him, so we won by 1 star XD. I feel like a bully now though

1 witch, 4 wizards, 2 archers is the best overall clan wars defense (for a lvl 5 clan castle)

Our clan ranges from one TH10 guy to several TH7s and a few TH6's. I have taken to donating valkyries on the lower level clan members because so many guys at that level attack by just spamming giants and wall breakers with no regard for clan castle. I have seen so many successful defenses on our lower level guys with one valkyrie backed up by one wizard and a few archers. Its scary how quickly the valkyrie can make giants and barbarians disappear! The valkyries are a risk/reward though because clan castles at that level are super exposed and can be easily lured out and circled by archers.

Were 2-1. Won first and most recent lost middle one. Middle was totally jacked we were facing a clan with champ somehow. Tons of maxed bases. None of our players got suggested match with any of their top 8 that's how bad it was. Top 8 were untouched

We won our last war with 54 to 4. (20 vs. 20) Not because our enemys are afk, but they're just so bad in attacking... Everyone of us only attacking once, because we won after 2 hours already (I'm from germany, so my english is really bad, sorry for that :/ )

best way to get dark elixir for th9 and 10 is that you go to crystal 2 or 1 since there all the bases have 1k and more dark elixir

balloons because its easy to miss them with lightning spell + splash damage + don't take to much space. Sometimes i add something else like a witch or a dragon as well but for low TH balloons kill giant healer strategy

why not donate golem? when the golem dies it will dish out a huge amount of damage to kill wizards or witches and due to its high hit points enemy will need a lot of time to take it out. Then they will not enough time to 3 stars a base using hogs. Chief Pat is the best RU-vidr Ever

I use valkryie, wizard and archer. Valkryie can kills 5 wizards at once, if they are in group. Wizard can back up my valkryie

You end the battle to preserve ur King and Queens health? Maximum it takes 3 hours to regenerate to full health. you have freakin 24 hours to attack, that more than enough time to attack TWICE
