no problem at all, if you look around you’ll see many videos of people using round bases.. we carefully worked out the rules so that geometry of bases would have no significant effect. Even in the same army you could have square and round bases and you would encounter no problems….
ok, interesting question cause you might have been doing something wrong.. note that furikaeshi is used instead of doing a defend combat response.. the defend combat response allows you to attempt to block enemy attacks using your combat stat.. however those that are not blocked can sill be saved by armor (this is just the fact that the barrier -armor- is there preventing some wounds ) when you do furikaeshi what you don’t do is roll those defend dice against your combat to block enemy hits, but your armor saves are still there.. let me know if this makes sense or if we need to explain further.. I could make a simple video showing the two alternatives… cheers Francisco
@@clashofspears8131 Thanks Francisco, but i've still one doubt. On the amazing book I just received 😀 it says.... when selecting defend as a combat response you have the option of using this skill instead of rolling to cancel enemy hits. I read it by considering rolling any die that cancels a hit because I don't see specified that only defend dice are not rolled. But....who am I to question the rules written by the author? 😀😀😀 So thank you very much for the answer that will be useful to me for the next exciting games. Many thanks Antonio
right, because only defend rolls cancel hits… saving throws prevent wounds.. that is why… if you cancel all hits with defend you don’t need to do a morale check , while on the other hand if hits are scored and you save them you take no wounds but still do a morale check.. look how the defend order is written where it says that hits not cancelled can still be saved.. remember.. defend - cancel hits, saving throw - prevent wounds hope it makes sense… very glad you liked the book… happy that you feel that we delivered !!
@@clashofspears8131 thanks again, now i understand the difference between defense dice and saving dice, it is then clear why it is written like this. Greetings Antonio
