Looks like a very interesting system. I really appreciate you putting the tables on the video, made it easier to understand what was going on. Thanks for posting!
Thank you very much for your support. Don’t forget to look at the online support page www.clashofspears.com , join us on our FB group, The Wargame Spot and enjoy... We are working on the upcoming new material.
Nice video! :) Question - at about 9:00 the iberians want to react to the roman second action. Is it possible though since they got two points of fatigue and should be stalled?
Absolutely correct... but I was kicking Alvaro’s butt so I allowed him to cheat a bit... Or actually it was the end of the video and we forgot... but yes you are totally correct... Fantastic job at noticing that...!
Late to the party, but very impressed with this video, i love the fact that the game is based pre Marian reforms when Rome wasnt the super power it was to become! I eagerly await more info and videos. Any chance of a sneak at box contents and factions? Cheers
HI guys, I start to learn the game in solo games, to be ready from when we reopen the club to test it with friends and I like it. but Im wrong but on the example on the video the spanish would be stalled ( 2 fatigues from previous attack) and couldnt react ?
riccardo marchesi , yes you are absolutely correct ! Alvaro cheats... but karma y karma and hence he rolled a 1 :) but you are correct.. I noticed after the video but decided to just leave it like that.. small mistake... VERY good catch...
This looks great! Whould it work with smaller models? I hav e" a few" 15mm DBM amies. It looks fine with larger models off course but a smaller map with 15 mm models could be quick and allow for loads of room to manouver (for Numidian light horses, warmachiens with long range etc)?
We had lots of playtesters some used 15mm figures some used other scales. So I can say that yes they work. You can keep scales as they are or use centimetres instead of inches. Numidians work perfectly well in 28s. We don't currently have rules for warmachines due to the skirmish scale, but we could produce some expansions in the future for some special games like attack on fortifications. Hope that helps,
@@Samanar , yes Dark Ages book will come out... hopefully this year.. We will only do KS if we really need it, if not it will be direct sales but the last KS finished in December and now in Feb we are shipping so even if KS it will be a very short campaign with quick delivery.. It will probably be an expansion and you will need this book for the rules... and the playtest lists for dark ages are already available at www.clashofspears.com cheers... and thanks for asking
We did the KS in December, we are shipping to backers in about a week. We hope to finish shipping by March and at that point KS retailers will have it available to sell and we'll have direct sales online. Full retail release is in April and we have retail distributors in both US and Europe you can find more info here www.clashofspears.com thanks for your interest !
@@clashofspears8131 Thank you so very much. We're in Canada (Quebec) so hopefully our "local" gameshop(s) will have your CoS rulebook in stock come April. My friends and I look forward to putting your rules to use!
