It feels like Orange Juice can write a whole textbook about the technicalities of this game

I like how Orange Juice is the most unbiased Clash Royale youtuber. He promotes mortar, spawners, and miner, while also giving us their effective counters. One of the reasons I am subscribed is because every other Clash Royale youtuber complains about some cards while you play it chill and actually tell us how to counter them rather than just winning about it and not telling us how to fix it. Thanks OJ! On a different note, could you attempt to make a video on how to use/ counter the bowler. It is a very powerful card, but few people know how to use it properly or how to effectively counter it, including me. Thanks!

There can be situations where it may be covenient to put the pump by your lower health tower. For example if your oponent is playing miner and you are countering it with mini pekka and you both are attacking the same side, if you play pump the other side to protect it, and he plays miner on it you will have to decide to leave it and take the elixir disadvantage or to play the m.pekka. If you want the pekka to attack the lower health tower after finishing the miner then you should play the pump by the lower health tower.

Tombstones are better than cannons if you use them correctly. I used to stop lots of OP decks with it.

My hog cycle deck's weakness is pumps and huts, literally the only thing I can do is send logs and zaps at them, but what I usually do is pressure them to not use them and if they do then I punish them if they had a elixir disadvantage when using them which they usually do since I keep on pressuring. Or I just leave them alone but I make huge positive elixir trades every time they push to make it look like I have an 'imaginary' pump to counter their pump. I have learnt this all from Orange Juice Gaming, thank you guys!

Who else notices the mini pekka saying "go away" when attacking?

That replay was cancer...a 6-minute dragged out catfight that was focused primarily on spawners/mortar/x-bow for dmg rather than actually getting units to enemy towers with strategic pushes...Personally I am not a fan of this type of play. That aside, the first half of this video was amazing quality, just subbed for your content.

Fuck sake, I've been using the tomb stone for month like this, why do you have to tell everyone

Tip: Put the elixir pump near the tower with more health. If they throw a spell at the elixir pump, the tower with less health won't take any damage.This will make it harder for your opponent to take out the tower. If they throw a rocket, you won't produce any elixir from the elixir pump, so you should just hope they throw a poison or fireball. It clearly says from this video that if they throw a fireball or poison, you can still produce 3 elixir from the elixir pump.

I've actually fought one of your clanmates, and won because when he played his miner, I logged it, and the pushback effect moved it to the kings tower and activated it.

If you place an elixir collector offset one tile from the corner of your side, and the opponent uses a miner on the side of the collector where it's towards the king tower, the miner will activate the king tower, usually without people even knowing the collector wasn't directly in the corner.

and btw, placing the elixir pump in the middle (between the towers and near the king tower), its also an advantage for a miner because its harder to guess where the miner is going to be placed.

Spawners can be difficult sometimes haha. Especially if they have valk or poison too, that can stop your range supports. Thanks for the new vid!

You should place the tombstone in front of the tower when defending a hog instead of the middle because the four skeletons that come out when it is destroyed come out the top and they push the hog back and attack him. If you put it in the middle they chase him and don't attack him till he reaches the tower. A properly placed tombstone allows 0 hits.

I do have to say that the Skeleton spawner is my favorite spawner. Because of it's amazing defensive possibilitys and iT Can deal allot of damage of you don't watch out, and the prince is very cheap.

The problem with mortar and XBow decks is that they are very impractical and most of the time inefficient. Using these cards requires immense training and huge calculations during battle. They often take extremely long to win a game that could've taken a lot faster, an example is Woody's replay. 6 fucking minutes. If Woody used a real deck then the game would be over in 3-4 minutes. Everytime I see a mortar/xbow deck go against any other deck archetype they get absolutely demolished and it's sad watching them desperately plant an xbow only to just hit a skeleton instead and lose.

I used tombstone to counter tanks prince and mini pekka's back in the days all people were noobs back then and i saw pretty many people using mini pekka prince that time 😂 i was prob one of the first people who used tombstone defensively but i used to place it right infront of the tower but then i saw a vid of you and i saw you were a much more skilled opponent i ever saw in game history 😂 i subbed a long time ago and have watched all vids and its kinda sad u didnt upload alot back then 😭 i was bored and if i got a notification i smash the video and try to comment FIRST on every video 😂👍🏻 thanks for all vids im alot more experienced and i can beat other skilled players now 3 acs arena 8 2 acs arena 9 all f2p 😝 all acs are level 6-8 with super low card levels idk why and how i dont donate that much and i dont upgrade things i dont use neither 😰

A decent arena 4-5-6 deck is Musky, Witch,Giant,and Balloon. Any other 4 cards will work, like, I run zap, stab goblins, zap and fire spirits.

One of the best mortar players in the game? No offense to woody but just because you put a mortar in your deck doesn't mean it's a "mortar deck". You can clearly see that the miner and princess are his kill cards...

Probably not the best place to post this, but I think we can all agree that the game needs some changes to the matchmaking system. Battling a level 13 maxed out player as a level 9 should not be possible. What I think they should do is that they should make matchmaking more on card and King levels than trophy count and make the trophy gain/loss higher or lower based off the levels. For example, if you played against a max level 13 as a level 9 and won, regardless of their trophies, you'd gain 40+ trophies. Vice versa for if you were to lose against someone lower than you. This in turn would alleviate season reset and also make tilting a lot less aggravating. This way, the more skilled players can rise to the top without having to worry much about trophies/levels.

Mortar and tombstone is a legit combo. You just need to learn how to use them properly. My deck is composed of mortar, tombstone, knight, archers, spear gobs, poison, ice spirit, fire spirit.... Only cost 2.8.. I wish I had a princess and miner
