Very accurate. But one can save some time, effort and chance for mistakes by doing the half of it and then folding the pattern and transferring the other half.
I always see tracing the frame, then a bunch of lines being drawn here and there without any explanations as to what each line is for and what it measures. There has GOT to be a tutorial somewhere on the internet for this, not just a bunch of lines being drawn. This bag is beautiful but I doubt I would be able to make it without more pattern explanations.
Hello! In principle we could do that, since the method is basically the same. But every frame differs from others. It is better you draw it by yourself according to the frame you have. If you have any questions, you are welcome to ask ;)
You have no links or specifics on obtaining the metal frame, the handles, or the chain -- both in this video and the one where you made a handbag. How is anyone to create without a source for the metal frame used? I need Amazon links for all this.
Hi! That is lining for fabric. There are many different kinds of it. Some are thicker, some are thinner. Some have glue on one side, and you need to heat it up to glue it on fabric ( the kind we are using). Some do not have glue on it, so that you need to buy the glue separately.
I bought it when I was in China. We are going to open a shop on Etsy, but we do not have time to manage it recently.... Hopefully you can find it from some online-shop.
Здравствуйте. Ниже в описании видео написано : посмотреть с субтитрами . Посмотрите с субтитрами там можно перевести на русский и все понятно будет вам . Я тоже так смотрю иногда. Всех благ вам и удачи.
Hi, not yet. But we are going to open a shop on Etsy soon. We will sell the finished bags and also the material for DIY. I will send you the link as soon as the shop is online. If you can not wait, it is possible to find the clasp on Amazon ;)
Hello QBee, thanks for your comment. Have you turned on the subtitle (CC) of the video? I've explained for each step what I'm doing and why it should be so. If you still have questions you could leave a comment. I'll try to explain that :-)
I am sorry for that. Maybe I did not explain all details. Please check this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Cs1WP1giuag.html This is the bag-making video according to this patter. It may help to understand.
@@pxhandworkstudio9295 Nooo, please don't say sorry..No I feel bad. I should be the one to say sorry if I sounded a bit aggressive there.. I should not have wrote that when I was frustrated. I honestly struggled when I was assigned to make my own pattern in a sewing class I was in too..So I think I am a bit slow to understand the principals on how to make patterns. And thank you so much I'll try again, I wont give up that easy. If I manage to get this, I hope the one getting the gift will like it after all this, haha.
I am so glad that you will not give it up! I fail some times to realize my ideas. But it worths it at the end of the day, when you give it to the loved ones. You could always ask me questions. Have fun DIY ;)
