Which I am not saying that it makes all of his actions okay,which it doesn't,but I think this explains why he acts the way he does. As well as the fact that his quirk,because it produces nitroglycerin,the chemical made for his explosions,it slows his heart rate so much that he could pass out or even die. So that's the main believed reason he acts the way he does,become if he doesn't stay mad or upset with his heart rate up,his quirk could inevitably kill him.
