@@aalekhjain2682 you are partially correct. According to me, rulers are elected by people in a democracy and free & fair elections are also held in a democracy! So, basically because of democratic system in our country, it is accountable, legitimate & responsive whereas monarchy is not legitimate, accountable and responsive
