It's generally not possible of soil highly alkaline or Acidic where the plants are growing. So must be you added Acids/ Bases in the sample solutions.

FAKE.. You just spiked the same sample 'B' with acid and base to get different results. Just why? Unless you are working near a chemical factory who don't respect environment, you won't get theses extreme pH values. It would be more useful to demonstrate real soil sample variation. My background: analytical chemistry technician from Canada.
