Awesome videos Marval,Looks like you spent the afternoon at the station?Lovely to see the Prasa stations in such good conditions. Also signals working.Keep em coming
Thanks, logan.🙂 Yeah,I usually spend 4-5 hours on this line when I get the chance. This is one of my favorite stations to visit. Prasa did a good job of rehabilitating the line. Everything works
Thanks for watching🙂.Transnet has a variety of diesels locomotives in their fleet. I've shared a number of videos over the years featuring diesel locomotives. As for mixed freight trains, those are very hard to come by.Transnet mostly runs unit trains
Thanks, brother.Maybe if the 22Es had double cabs, both of us prefer to see them hauling the really heavy trains, not some of these ones with small wagons 😄
I love the caption, brother. So tell me, the North corridor side, are they still having 18E's roaming up and down with loads or they totally removed them that side
Thanks, bro. The 18Es are still very much active on the North corridor, although not so reliable anymore because they are not being maintained properly.
@marval44039 oh okay so basically, they busy with 22E & 43/44 GE locos mostly coz the way I see it, they want to remove them that side. I don't know about 35GM diesel
@howardsifiso3649 The 18Es mainly work on the Welgedag and Ogies section of the North corridor together now with the 20Es and 44GEs.The 22Es have been moved to Pyramid South and Ermelo, they work together with the 43GEs. The 35GM is not powerful enough to handle loads on the mainlines, so it's mostly used as shunting or branch line locomotive
