Hi, Would you explain to me when we use " I am loving...: - you used in your programe. As we are tought not to use verb love in present continuous tense.
@highlevellistening
@highlevellistening Месяц назад
Great question! It is true that most textbooks will say that "love" is a state verb, so we can't use it in a continuous tense. BUT, in casual speaking, you can use it to mean: - "[I am really enjoying] this sunny weather." - "[I am loving] this sunny weather." Even McDonald's uses this grammar in their incredibly successful advertising campaign. i.cbc.ca/1.4598664.1522334234!/fileImage/httpImage/image.jpg_gen/derivatives/16x9_780/i-m-lovin-it.jpg Of course, you can also also say: "I really like this sunny weather." "I love this sunny weather". Hope that makes sense!
