Alan Carr sure knows a lot about Class 318s! I remember travelling on them on the inauguration of the “Ayrline” - the electrification of the Glasgow-Ayr/Largs lines. Luxury compared to the crud DMUs and even the class 303s on the Gourock/Wemyss Bay lines.
the only ones of this class without the conversion to the cab doors work the gourock and circle lines, i regularly worked on the largs buster set as it was dubbed by us, on the brake handle someone actually wrote it,
I wish they still ran because the class 380 isn't really fasinating. Hopefully some day this year the class 380 will be replaced but that definetly won't happen :(
Hi there, yes it is in the pipeline, we will be doing the Class 320 next followed by the Class 334 and Class 156. We want to do a longer reviews for the Pendolino, CrossCountry Voyager, Transpennine Class 350 and the East Coast 225.We are working through the train that use Glasgow Central before moving onto other trains.
