You written n Haploid, 2n Diploid , 3n Triploid, 4n Tetraploid its wrong way to say you will never found any book written like this, You can substitute 3n, 4n, 6n etc. Actually it will be write in this formet triploid as 2n= 3x, tetraploid as 2n=4x, hexaploid 2n=6x, and otcoploid 2n=8x. In case of Cytogentics plz you should read Prof. P.K Gupta book.
