Brings back some happy memories of the coast with some proper traction ,thanks for sharing.

24+ years ago - it’s amazing how run-down the stations and platforms look...the whole experience looks dreary and tired. I love the old Class 37s - and they have a proper diesel sound - but some of them look positively terrible in this video. The carriages were out of date at the time, too. Thanks for this video! I have pleasant memories of seeing these old trains plying along the coastal route between Llandudno Jct and Rhyl back in the 90s and early 2000s. The Class 175s of today may not be as interesting to look at but they bring a level of comfort and efficiency these old workhorses could never have delivered. And they too will be replaced with newer equipment before long.

Happy days when ballast trains would go to the filling sites already half full.........great video :)

Went to Llandudno Junction a few days a go, all those sidings are covered in overgrowth, its a sad site.
