@@steveluckhurst2350 Yes a lot have been scrapped & largely replaced in many roles, but you can't argue the testament of their design & upgrade potential is well proven given the frame is over 60 years old by this point. They will more likely be dropped by rail firms due to economic cost, but they're multi purpose, have tons of spare parts, make new if needed, this winds up cheaper than buying brand new locos, in DRS case anyway. So they're sticking around for a while yet.
