The Peaks are some of my favourite classes of diesel locos, so it's great to see them both in such good condition. Nice shots as always, and good to get a look around the depot as well!
I'm just gonna say I love the MRC But the fact that they usually always run 1 train and only 1 station is accessible by road makes it feel kinda eerie. There's also loads to see which is what I do like, and the fact that 16440 is nearly out of her overhaul. With any luck this summer we may have a 2 train service with services passing at Swanwick.
I'm sure there are aims to reintroduce a two train service, ultimately though the railway needs to consider a number of things: The limited number of available volunteers, as well as the running costs, particularly with the rising prices of coal and diesel, for example
