Great Vid, explained really well and no silly music, I like to hear a machine run. Thinking of a new machine and this looks good but a kind word of advice for all sewers, with top loading machines put a piece of paper under the feed dogs when changing the needle, I dropped the needle straight down in the feed dogs gap and had to take my sewing machine completely apart in order to retrieve it, you would not have this problem with a front loading machine as you can access underneath easy. I’m for and against top loading machines, but do like this machine. Happy Sewing.

I am considering if I should spent more on a computerised version with less stitches (A16) or a mechanical version with more stitches (GS3700).. new to sewing! Mam, I have usha Janome wonder stitch. It vibrates while sewing due to its light weight... Does this juki sewing machine also shakes/vibrates when we sew in high speed?

Most of these domestic table top sewing machines vibrate when sewing with heavy fabrics or sewing fast but I find Juki is more sturdy and also the speed is good compared to similar other machines.

Thank you. This machine does not come with a darning plate but it has a lever to lower the feed dog as shown in the video. Yes, can be used for quilting. Yes, it has automatic needle threader. Sure, will make a video on maintenance soon. Yes you can do blind hem without the blind hem foot but with the foot it would be easier.

Hi, it is a good machine for sewing and not an embroidery machine but you can do simple embroidery using the free motion embroidery foot or spring needle . Built in stitches means some design stitches and just by selecting the pattern, you can stitch the decorative stitch as we have shown in this video.

Hi, I have never used this machine but my students have used and it was good. It is not an embroidery machine. If I had that machine, I would have done the video. Hi, you can use zig zag stitch and similar stitch patterns in this machine to stitch at the edge of the fabric. Though it does not give the same finish as a serger it can work fine.

It can be used for small boutiques with limited usage. You can use your industrial machine for sewing and this machine can be used for some designing. Not meant for heavy duty industrial purpose.

There is no hard and fast rule but usually it is said around 2 - 3 hours should not be a problem.

Thanks. There is a led light which switches on when the machine is switched on. You can switch off if not needed.

Oh ok. For some reason Juki has stopped these machines in Indian market. Their industrial machines are available though.
