how are the two engines mated together? I cant find any information on building one. Any help would be greatly appreciated

The drive sprockets from each motor fit into a shared drivebox. That box 'converts' the drive so that the engines are, in effect, pulling in the same direction. Elite, DRD and Berrisford are the common manufacturers.

Been watching these on RU-vid and afew wheelie on the start and some don't I guess that's all to do with setup etc

Yeah they do like to wheelie, this one had weighted plates at the front to help keep it down
