Beautiful, I’m a senior and this song really touched me because I’m so devastated.

I’m class of 2020 and I’m in tears knowing I’m missing out a lot and not getting to race one track meet this year.

I first heard this when my mom was playing it will I was doing dishes. I had to stop to let out all my emotions. I am also a senior. I was on a cruise for our actual spring break. The day I came home, everything got canceled. They haven't canceled our graduation but they have been talking about. This song is helping me so much right now. I have been listening to it on repeat. Thank you so much Abby for gifting the senior class with this. I hope it all works out for you in the end.

Wow. So amazing to see you utilizing the talents God has given you to spread encouragement and perspective to us fellow seniors in such an unprecedented time. I'm also an Indiana senior, and really related on a number of levels. It's so ironic how much we take for granted during the year, and don't realize how much many of those aspects impact us until they are taken away. How many times I was just wishing to be finished and off to college, but suddenly regret the lost times with others around me that I didn't utilize while I had the chance. I'm a homeschooled senior. This whole thing is a bit different for me. Being homeschooled, I never expected to go to Prom or have a true graduation ceremony. My wingman and best friend asked me to join him at his Prom while I was sick way earlier this year. It brightened my whole day. We made so many plans that day to go out to eat and have a sleepover the night before. He got a tux that made him feel euphoric and I got a suit that made me feel euphoric. We were so excited, then it got canceled. My co-op was going to have a graduation ceremony. Something I never thought was possible until their first ceremony last year. Just for it to be up in the air as to whether we're doing it or not. Leaning towards not. So many things I never thought I'd get to do, dangled in front of me as possibilities, just to be yanked away in an instant. I'm still extremely upset, but this song is helping. You've been given a gift, darlin. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you so much for this. This has brought back so many memories that I can never get back. I've had a pretty f****d up childhood. Starting at age 2 I killed myself and was brought back to life and about to do something no human on Earth thought possible, graduate. I don't like the fact that I won't be having a public graduation. Instead, my diploma will be sent in the mail. Please, any Seniors reading this, I wish you the best of luck from here on

I come from a very small school (about 50 kids) that goes from pre-k to grade 10. After that we commute 90 minutes to a very large school (about 1800 kids) for 11 and 12. When I walked into that school on my first day of grade 11, I was terrified, missing my old school and the friends and teachers I'd known all my life. I couldn't wait to leave. But by the time I was graduating I was sad to go. I still miss it sometimes. Looking back, I think there might have been some minor trauma involved in that transition (I've always been a small town girl and I've always been quite introverted so to suddenly go from a tiny school to huge one was rough. I was extremely socially anxious after grade 12 and it took me a good couple of years to get back to where I was before. I'm of the class of 2017. My brother graduated this year. I don't know how I would have handled being his position, although I am jealous of all the kids who didn't have to write that gruelling, ridiculous four day long provincial English exam. But I keep wondering how I would have handled senior year being cut short, not getting a final stroll through the halls or final goodbyes to my teachers. Not getting to wrap things up and end the era properly. Then I proceed to wonder, what if this had happened during my grade 10 year? My final year at my tiny local school? I'd have been devastated and depressed and probably struggled more than I did. I suppose I could use my fictional writing skills to explore that idea. . .

I remember how senior year had drove us all nuts. But, we would do it all over again. Prom and grad night were definitely great rewards. But nothing felt better then finally, walking the stage/field to get that diploma. after working so hard for four straight years. I Pray with all my heart, that they find a way to do something special for all of you 2020 seniors.

Seniors, your the ones who the juniors, sophomores, and freshman all looked up to. It was your year and, you didn’t get it, I am sorry, I feel so bad, but think back a few months when you said your last goodbye to your friend, text that friend and tell them how much you love them and how much they mean to you, the helped you asking your crush out, they helped you through breakups, and everything hard that has happened in the last for weeks.
