What is Lighting?
Lighting is the process of utilizing natural or artificial source of light used to illuminate areas as per requirements
Lighting has different purposes which fits its requirements. Such as egress lighting is used for safe evacuation of workers in plant in event of power outage and emergencies. Similarly lighting has mood enhancing effects in indoor applications called human centric lighting. Again post sunset any application requires lighting without which we cannot do the specific task.
LED lighting is frequently recommended by energy consultants. The payback period is typically less than three years, and leading manufacturers offer a five-year warranty. Since the upfront cost is recovered during the warranty period, LED lighting is a very safe investment.
Lighting design is very important in EPC & MEP projects. the lighting system is special - there is a subjective and artistic factor involved. Lighting designs must provide enough visibility, but they also set the ambience of built environments.
