Ciao, ho da qualche anno questo modello di Strato e mi trovo bene. All’inizio avevo pensato di cambiare i pick-up con dei Fender 57/62 ma alla fine quelli che ho mi hanno convinto. Tu li cambieresti i pick-up per migliorare il suono?
A questa chitarra sicuramente no trovo che questa chitarra sia altamente ben riuscita e che suoni davvero vintage, l'unico pickup che può essere un upgrade sono i Texas Special anche se non so quanto sarebbe diverso.
good playing except all that echo,an yes they have great tremolo,but a bit hard to pull leads on,i love mine one day an hate it the next,im 66 go figure..hear steve gaines tone,what a killer 65 strat he played,an the very best of course, blackmore.......
Do the strings get a little anemic sounding when bending at the higher frets? Particularly during the Layla riff; I'm setting mine up right now and I'm having a little trouble getting the strings to the right action in relation the the fretboard. I'm wondering how much "choking-sound" is okay. Great video, and I agree, fabulous guitar.
Stig Hansen hunfortunately the 7'25 radius has this problem but, hendrix, stevie ray, gilmour ecc had only this radius so..if you raise a bit the action on the high strings you can bend good. I raise 1mm and everithing was way better!
Thanks for the quick reply! That's what I was thinking. Can I ask you what height you have at the 12th fret? The thing is I can't raise the high E saddle higher AND keep the strings rounded in the radius of the fretboard because the screws of the saddles for the B and G string are too short. So with that I'd end up with the high E being at around the same height as the B and G, if that makes sense. Blargh. I just love the 7.25 except for this reason. Other than that, I think it plays so much better than flatter ones, if you play blues.
Stig Hansen yes is very good, for chords and soloing too. I don't have now this guitar because is in my studio now but when i have it i will tell you the mesures!
Great Video! I'm looking forward to buy my first Strat. Now I have a begginer guitar (a dean evo), but after played it for a year I want to upgrade and buy a strat. I have two options in mind: the yamaha pacifica 212v and squier classic 50's. Which one do you recommend? Or is better to wait and save money for a mexican fender strat? Greetings from Mexico :)
+Pedro Rocha García si escrives desde Mexico te hablo en espanol! Mi mujer es Paragauya! Te dirè las pacificas son muy buenas pero si quieres algo como una strato...nada es como una strato! Las lineas mas economicas que empezan a suenar como las originales americanas son las classic vibe de squier. Para mi mas que la 50' es la 60' que suena mejor he hacio un video al principio de mi canal youtube junto a la telecaster. Despues si prefieres la madera clara (maple) como mastil la 50's es tu option. Las mexicanas muchas veces son de calidad como las americanas asi que son buenas optiones. La mia 1999 es de mexico y es picante como un abanero!
Gracias por contestar :) Entonces creo que ahorraré dinero 2 meses más y compraré una fender stratocaster mexicana. Chequé el video donde haces la comparación de sonido entre la Fender Standard Stratocaster y la Squier Classic Vibe 50' y me convenció mas la Fender Standard
If u want to introduce its sound turn OFF all pedals and go straight into at least medium quality amp. Nobody is curious effects. Only the real cleans make sense.
Absolutely stays in tune, even because i use a method to set up the back claw as Leo Fender projected it...angled with more tension on low strings. To inpruve tuning and use the bar like a floyd i've did a video but unfortunately is in italian. But i've taken the ideas from Carl Varheyen video about his strat!
Umberto Ronco Umbè, sei un grandissimo chitarrista, hai un bell'inglese, ma io, misero quindicenne che voglio capire qualcosa in più sulle Classic player 50, poiché sto pensando di acquistarla, e vedo che fai un video in inglese mi viene da piangere, voglio dire siamo Italianiiii. Comunque sei bravissimo, e la chitarra ha davvero un bel suono(ovviamente)😂
Luca Lee hahaha no ma c'era un motivo, il primo video che avevo caricato era sulle specifiche della classic 50 ed era in Inglese, nel video avevo detto che avrei fatto la parte suonata e per molto tempo non lo avevo fatto quindi dopo molto tempo avevo deciso di farlo in inglese. Comunque dopo quello tutti i video sono in italiano! Comunque studia l'inglese è l'unico modo di imparare un botto di cose e soprattutto di trovare lavoro in posti dove purtroppo si vive meglio della nostra cara Italia
