The hook for me was the gold mine. I remember binge watching 3 seasons till we were up to date. I started with a nitro monster truck now I have an ascender and a wraith can't for get the scx24 that my wife bought me for my birthday. She likes watching with me. I came along late summer 2016. I got addicted to, what I would call, your true "rc adventure" videos. Be a few trucks, you'd never hear or see anyone. Always vehicle to vehicle recovery, with the hook up edited out. Music, and sometimes the alarm sound when someone rolled. Haha. Good stuff.

I really don't remember your 1st video! I love them all! I drive semi in San Diego, & got a losi mini crawler, 4 days,later i got an axail 10 scorpion!! Still running it today, 12yrs later..same dif,& pinion bearings!! Up to 10 rc's now!!! Love your show!!

Your first video that i came across was you riding the giant dump truck!!!. I watched several youtube gold vids, then discovered your amazing collection in the shop!. ....I've been hooked ever since! Hey medic, great video! First one I watched was the “Slash 4X4 Ultimate in mud” from 2012. But my favorites were always the ones with “The Beast” it was so awesome to see that truck constantly morphing into different versions. I would be cool to see “The Beast” again on the channel, maybe a new build/modification series or a fully new build inspired by some of the past versions (I loved the red chevy) like you did with Overkill. Love your channel! Keep it up!

I started the rc hobby as a direct result of the uk lockdown, went for the 1/12 military vehicles from hg, ie hg p802 p806 trailer p602 p408 and a 1/10 crawler p403 but for me it's all about personal enjoyment...i joined some local Facebook rc groups where i live in wales uk and am really enjoying the hobby...

Honestly, I got into rc's as kid starting with toy grade. I bought my first hobby grade when I was 17. It was the Axail ax 10 scorpion kit, I saved money all summer just to get it and all the electronics. Now I have 6 different rc vehicles including a TRX4 and a graphite losi xxt. My old ax 10 is completely aftermarket at this point. Watching you and your friends keeps me up to date and helped me decide to buy the trx4.

What go me into RC's 9 years ago was you! Project Overkill Dulley (original) and the Cheap Tire Chain DIY video from 9 years ago. Although I was watching your videos back then I didn't get my first real RC until 4.5 years ago. I remember you taking the XMAXX out to the construction sight behind your house and bashing the fool out of it and eventually blowing out a tire mid air, it was spectacular. Thank you for showing me the awesome world of RC and how much fun they are as well as the endless possibilities of things that can be done with them as well as to have an open mind towards creativity. What got me hooked is when I went out with a few buddies into the mountain on a hiking trail, and they all had crawlers. They let me use one that didn't have a body but crawled amazing. Been hooked sense and just recently bought my first crawler. The trx-4 blazer. I originally wanted the bronco but went with the blazer.

I said it before & I'll say it again. I found this awesome, bad ass channel @ 9 years ago when I looked up "learn how to drift." I had bought HPI Sprint 2 Flux Mustang not knowing what the hell I was doing. You had the same car. I enjoyed your spirit & excitement, your knowledge & your willingness to share your knowledge. I went back to your very first post & watched them all. I discovered that not only did I enjoy driving fast & drifting but this different thing called "crawling." I "fell" hard into a whole new world. I followed your process on waterproofing. My Axial SCX10 is still running strong after 7 years. Plasti-dip & marine grease y'all. RU-vid cleared my watch data/history for some reason & I'm doing it all over again. I'm three years away from the present day. And "heck yeah" I'm subbed to both of your channels. I started in the hobby when I was 7 I’m now 42 my father raced and I got in to it that way my first hobby grade rc was a Tamaya lunch box wish I still had it I can’t remember when I started watching it’s been every bit of ten years I watch most of the time while I’m wrenching. Which I’m always doing. I enjoy trailing or crawling the most because it gets me outdoors In the woods The videos of your I like the most are anything with the 5th scale boss. Because he’s funny as hell the big dirty vids And your videos with David jr and his dad and the amazing builds you guys did

It started when I was 5 and I went to work with my mom, and I would sit at the empty computer and I remember the first video I saw was optimus overkill, the semi with tracks. I have watched every single episode of yours. Currently, I have a trx4 sport with a lift kit, beadlocks, 2.2 hyraxs, a 35t holmes hobbies motor, reefs rc 422hd servo, and a jconcepts ford 1979 ford f250 body, and I also have an scx10 II kit with the 11.4 wheelbase I believe, same motor and servo as the Beast, I call it, with 1.9 beadlocks and the falken tires from a buddy's axial scx10 II blazer. For a basher I have a 1/10 losi rock rey, which is an absolute beast. i drive it up tree trunks and do a few flips, land, and keep going. So far I have persuaded all 5 of my cousins, my dad, uncle, and friends to get a crawler, and so every so often we hit the local hiking trails and have a blast. From 5 to 14, your content never gets old. Keep it up!!! I still wanna come up and crawl with you sometime haha @RCSparks Studio

Well sir you got me hooked WAY WAY WAY back during one of your very first videos... the Hilux project and talking about doing things in front of the camera, mentioning things like "stepping out of your comfort zone". I am sure you have encouraged many people to do their own thing But more importantly it encouraged me to do my own videos and take on this hobby with a love that just will never quit.
