Left out “you didn’t observe my birthday properly”, that was a classic. That one couldn’t be replayed on Sirius or HowardTV because it involved Howard’s first wife too much.
Robin did have a point there too, it’s Howard who was her friend so why was her gift going to a show with his wife and kid while he sat enjoying his alone time? Robin wanted something personal and Howard just wanted to kill two birds with one stone to get everyone out his hair while he relaxed at the house lmao
@@RAK_Media there probably wouldn't be a high quality version of it, since it was never replayed at Sirius due to Howard's first wife being involved. I have it in poor quality that was typical for mid 90s archives. Robin's birthday is in early August, so it would be around 8/8/95 show most likely.
She is batshit crazy. Thing that always bothered me is how Howard would always go off on everyone else implying they didn’t spend enough time and effort on the show. If they literally did anything in their free time he would act as if they weren’t dedicated enough. But never Robin.
Well a large part of that is shtick. If you were up to something goofy or messed up at your job he’d make content out of making fun of whatever other things you spend your time doing. He busted on Robin in his own unique way with her weird rituals and weight loss cults but it wouldn’t work very well if you came for your cohost for being a multimillionaire
Because he accidentally made a joke once about her reading the paper on the beach and she stormed out and refused to do the rest of the show because her "hard work" was belittled. She's legitimately crazy he didn't want anything to do with that
Isn't she supposed to be out of the loop when it came to show planning and show prep? I thought Howard wanted to present things to her fresh so he knows how the audience would be reacting to it and that's the reasoning for her being in her own room.
I always loved Howard and Robin fights cause unlike fights with anyone’s else, Howard seems to on his heels and really doesn’t attack her like he would with others
Whats funny is that if Howard didn't know Robin and she was on another show, doing this same unnecessary laughing and cackling, He would have dogged her out for years just like he did for everybody else lmao
I love how Howard doesn't care when Robin does it but gets all over Jackie for doing the same thing. Secretly he probably couldn't stand her. Not sure how any radio host could have put up with that nervous laughter throughout every single show he did. It really did sound like a witch's cackle. I never knew one Stern fan that liked her. And the fact that she's protesting that much about not asking for the room is definitely proof that she did it. If it wasn't true it wouldn't bother her as much as it did
Lol Howard respects Robin more than anyone else and credits his success to her. He needed her laughter. You're right that tons of fans dislike her, but Howard loves her and always has.
Robin has always been a pretty lady. Maybe not hot or sexy in some people's opinion... but always pretty. Looks amazing for her age now, especially being a severe cancer survivor
I give the gold medal to Fred, silver goes to Robin and John gets the bronze. Fred gets gold because he is unhinged and doesn't know how to act like a normal human in anyway. And he's the biggest crap talker but can't take any kind of it return. Robin get silver because she's a huge hypocrite and liar. Plus her not getting gold would offend her massive ego. And John gets bronze because he's like a rat that just nips and annoys and pesters everyone around him. Plus, John doesn't deserve any higher because he's a bum.
Her father messed with her before she was 10 years old. Trauma based arrested development. It’s no surprise she maintained an adolescent sense of humor & never got married or had children.
After you listen long enough and realize that everything is designed to make Howard rich you can see through the drama and see that the picture argument was completely designed to sell books
A lot of real arguments were also genius promotion. Like when they’d have the fights over who could go to scores parties & arguments with Tom over things like Butt Bongo Fiesta. Sure the arguments are real, but they’re prompted by a genius need of promotion. It’s just like the prank callers, they knew they’d get played for plugging Howard’s stuff so they caused controversy and got a TON of free advertisements in for Howard’s movie and books in return for being played on the show & as payment he allowed them to come on air just enough that they could make money in appearances. Howard is Imus now, but back in his peak he was doing some astronomically entertaining and genius shows.
Yes, all the bits about Robin's book were 1994/1995/1996. Robin arguing with Jackie is 1998. The only one that isn't is the Narcissism test, which may have been recorded in the late 2000s. I mention this in the description.
