You got to pay attention to some of the new "Christian Music". Their is a worldly poison being put in. You might not catch it just by listening to it, but if you look into some of the ones singing these songs, they are staying in their sins and promoting their worldly views.
If you are born again the Holy Ghost (Spirit) already abides in you. If He does not, you cannot walk in the Spirit. Walking under the law and walking in the Spirit is covered in Galatians. Sabbath is an Old Testament law whereby God's people received rest. Jesus is our rest. Come to me all ye who are heavy laden and I will give you rest. He is Lord of the Sabboth. He is Lord of rest. He alone gives us peace in God. There is no rest outside of that. Consider: SALVATION IS A HEART ISSUE! Many believe that they are saved because they said the sinners prayer. Yet, "The heart is deceptive above all things and desperately wicked, who can know it?" Jeremiah 17:9. That prayer may be from Arminianism which states that man can save himself by his free will. Calvinists say that God chooses and who can resist the Holy Spirit? Stephen told his persecutors that they do always resist the Holy Ghost. Acts 7:51. Scripture says, " The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart and saveth them that be of a contrite spirit. Psalm 34:18, Isaiah 57:!5, 66:2. Ask God to send the Holy Ghost to you, Luke 11:13. He will gently bring your sins to mind. This will be painful because pride hates it! As they come to mind, confess them to Jesus. Persevere. "Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light." Ephesians 5:14. WHEN you see your desperate need for a sinless Saviour, CRY OUT to Jesus to save you. That is His desire. Then call upon the name of the Lord. How? As Peter told the Jews who were pricked in the heart. Acts 2:38 and as Paul did. Acts 22:16. They were baptized, calling on the name of the Lord. "Jesus answered and said, Verily, verily I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. " John 3:5. (Mark 2:27-28; Gen 2:1-3...And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made. Before man sinned, God gave Him the Sabbath to commune with Him. After man sinned, God put into effect the plan of Redemption though the sacrificial ceremonies - to point to the Messiah. As those ceremonial holy days which were to be kept as a Sabbath, were fulfilled in Jesus, type met antitype and the ceremonial law met its fulfillment. “Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.” (Matt 5:17). Which is different than the Sabbath of the 4th commandment - given not as a result of sin but at creation. As a remembrance that God is our Creator and Redeemer - and not we ourselves. “Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it”. (Exodus 20:8-11) Part of the commandments (not suggestions) God wrote with His own finger (not man) on tables of stone, not sand, not paper) The only commandment that starts with remember as he knew we would forget.... .

By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. (Heb 11:8) Faith and obedience go hand in hand. If our faith in Jesus does not transform us from man lost in sin - and into a free person in Christ then our religion is nothing. We need a life of victory from the old self - a life free of sin and filled with the Spirit - the Spirit of Liberty! The 10 commandments - the moral law, is the perfect Law of Liberty. Which is different than the ceremonial law. The moral law is a transcript of the character of God (merciful, and abundant in goodness and truth- Exod 34:6-7- which is the same God of the New Testament.... I am the Lord, I change not (Mal 3:6); Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and for ever. (Heb 13:8). The Old Testament is a revelation of Jesus, the coming Messiah and the New Testament is a revelation of the Father through the life of Jesus

(II Cor 3: 1-11 - Verse 7 calls the ten commandments, "The ministration of death, written and engraven in stones.") Read Hebrews. Like all of it, as that is the point of the whole letter. Hone in on the end of chapter 8 and the beginning of chapter 9 and the writer could not state any more clearly that the ten commandments were erased and replaced. Not one or two, all ten. That does not mean we can murder each other now, what it means is that Exodus 20 and Deuteronomy 5 are no longer where we turn if we want to know the Law. It was the Apostles' job to "give us all things pertaining to life and godliness" (II Pet 1: 3) In Heb 8: 8-12, the writer quotes Jer 31. "For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord. Ellenistic Jews will tell you that the tables are the Law, but the Bible, over and over, refers to the tables as "the covenant". So the covenant "waxed old and vanished away", but we still follow the "tables of the covenant"? You need to break away from your false prophet, read your Bible, ditch the law of death, and be saved by Jesus in His way: being baptized into His death and raised in the likeness of His resurrection, and living your life for Him. I adore acapella hymns. We will have these with us for eternity!! We will carry our minds and our voices with us into glory along with the ability to praise our beloved and glorious Father and His Son, our Savior!!

These are my favorite acapella hymns that I have on my phone. This is what we always sing at our church, are the old hymns. I started out 20 years ago at a mega church and they only sang contemporary songs. 9 years later I found the church I am in now and have been for the past 11 years. King James 1611 only. Can you pray that it passes quickly and no more residents take sick? So far about 25 +residents are sick or have tested positive which is not good.
I used to be with a church of Christ quartet, we got known around the county, different churches kept inviting us to sing.....the point? We sing a capella and congregations that used musical instruments heard us they always said it was so nice to hear the lyrics! Kind of funny what they cover up with instruments

Wonderfully sung, I'm totally blessed with the harmony. It draws me close to the Christ who shed his life for us. It reminds me of those blessed youthful days I used spend with my mum in church on Sabbath.
I miss my Church of Christ congregation upon hearing these spiritual hyms. We often practice singing unfamiliar hyms in the songs of the church hymn book every fellowship. God bless you brother. These are the kind of songs that really bring message to the one hearing it.

One of the things I agree with Church of Christ with is staying acapella. I'm not condemning ones that don't do acapella, as some Churches of Christ seem to do, as that is adding to the word when it is not condemned and it is being taught that it is. Many Churches have turned into entertainment/concert/feelings Churches with instrumental, and must be careful you are their for the right reasons.
One of the reasons I left the Church of Christ was the teaching that instrumental music in worship was sinful. It is difficult to worship God in spirit and truth when your brothers and sisters in Christ are condemning other Christians for minor doctrinal issues. Today I find too many Christians with this attitude. Even the disciples had that attitude at times ! And they were rebuked by our Lord and Savior by His word : “For whoever is not against us is for us” Mark 9: 40

Hebrews 10:25 says nothing about the first day of the week. First day observance comes from Rome. Do we follow the authority of a man in Rome or do we follow the authority of God in the Decalogue? This will become a focal issue in the near future as Satan pushes his agendas. Those who follow God’s law and not man’s will suffer persecution at the hands of those who follow Rome, the beast power, and her “mark” of authority, the first day observance.

I love Adventist Acapella, i once heard of a song when I was in the middle of nowhere . I don't remember the name of the song but the lyrics goes like "He is the Alpha and Omega ,He sits upon the highest throne highest of all .He is the maker , creator ..... How does the rain know when it's time to come down? How does the sun know when it's time to go up ?" If anyone knows of this song please assist 🙏

I love these songs, but I keep seeing 7th Day Adventist comments here urging people to listen to them while ushering in the Sabbath day, and I just want to warn you not to let Satan steal your reward. (Col. 2: 18) There are two passages that specifically tell us the ten commandments are Old Law and have passed away. It's no wonder Paul says you are wearing a veil whenever Moses is read. If you claim Christ and don't understand this plain speech, you are blind. Ellen White has robbed you of your reward in Christ. The Old Covenant is over, God made it old when He said He would make a new one. 9: 4: Ark of the what? Inside it are what? "The golden pot that had mana, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tables of the..." what? In this context, the covenant has been replaced with something better. In this context where the covenant is dead, the ten commandments are the tables of the dead covenant. The only reason Seventh Day Adventists haven't noticed passages like these is that Ellen White has robbed them of their reward. She is dead and in God's Hands, repent while you draw breath, and leave her to be tormented in her lies.
