Gotta love the interior work under the dash never easy for the mechanic unless you are a little person and most of us are not.

Great video! It gives a person an idea of what it takes to install a universal ac box. Looks like a pretty good one. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the install.

Smart man as always and if you put your mind to it you can get a engineer type install without the repair and placement issues that come along with it because you being a certified Mopar technician from last few decades would make it repair friendly as with the engineers won't.

I will agree with you on the update and efficient part of it. Question is will it last with todays issues with quality control and materials. The old one is a good option to keep for in case you need it for something else and I kinda like the old school unit for the metal lasts and it holds up and it holds the heat in. Winter and cold in summer. Looking good as always and nice work as always. Hopefully you are doing well and everything is going good at home.

Getting there, Joe!! So which kit is this?? Last I checked, they did NOT have a direct fit kit for a 65', but did have a few choices in the way of universal.. You should check the drain for the cowl air. Of course we don't know how much water you were sending directly into it, but it has to drain in a downpour as well!! The cover plate under the hood could use some seam sealer before getting squirted with paint!! ;)

Great video thanks Joe! Does the box have a replaceable filter? At 16:48 that screw looked like it was on a piece of the box that would need to be removed if there's a filter in there?
