Mom of 2 boys and military wife, come here for the videos too. Self-taught myself to cut the husband's and my Boyos hair. I enjoy watching as many peoples technic.
That's awesome! We're really glad that the videos are teaching people! That was one of the main goals we set out to accomplish when we started the barbershop series. - Jack
i just wanna thank you guys for all the big work you put in the community and for your amazing products! you are truly a legend! keep up the good work and BEARD ON!
It’s just the edgy punk style that these British barbers have when they fade. I always do half inch till 1.5 inch guidelines to actually have a transition. The fades that are on beard brand are always very tight, meaning there is a small transition gap, meaning it doesn’t look very appealing.
too busy pretending to be cool to worry about a good fade... probably looking at those hardcore tattooz all over his hands instead of the hair hes “cutting” this a greatclips level fade for real
I’m a chick and know nothing about men’s haircut but for some reason I feel as though this wasn’t a great fade. Someone correct me if I’m wrong. (I only watch these because I find them relaxing).
White boyz sometimes like a choppy haircut . Fits your attitude. Nothing wrong with his fade just more like a disconnected look , looks dope. That’s this barbers style .
That breath he pull out at the beginning! Then got me interested that he will mess the fade!! Then I was damnnnn right 🤣🤣somebody make me inspector 🤣🤣🤣🤣
As usual, scissor work is good, clipper work is unfinished, he needs to drop the clipper over comb technique and just stick to moving through the guards to get rid of the heavy weight line. Even if he's going for that deep shadow fade it's noticeably unfinished. His steps are good until he blends the first 2 guidelines. If he were to fix that aspect of his technique he would be fulfilling his potential as a great barber.
Apostolos R Exactly that fade was really bad, looks like a rookie barber fade his shear game is quite nice tho but agree he needs to work on working thru them guards
i encourage you to scrap that entire method off fading and switch to a much less complicated faster and much cleaner way of fading, so many great fade videos on youtube, no reason for this right here, that was rough to watch.....much barber love though keep getting it y'all got a great vibe at the shop.
This just confuses new barbers on how to fade this method. He should just fade down with his half guards rather than making it complicated. I’m a new barber myself and this just confused the life out of me ngl
maniijua the barber in the video is in my opinion very talented. The Guys you called are great with Clipper Cuts yes, but they are struggling with shere work. This guy can do both in a good way. Thats how i see it as a barber ;)
Those are some very talented barbers, absolutely. We feel that they deliver a very different type of style though. The cuts that we feature are more along the lines with what you see in South England (where this shop is located) - Jack
Thanks Jack! I know that you are limited by who shows up in the shop and agrees to be on camera, but we want to see these professionals work their magic on beards.
I’m gonna be honest, I’m gonna guess about 70% of people in the comments get one length shaved side undercuts and make fun of the European styles of leaving distinct lines. It looked good and honestly made good texture
I like this channel but as someone that is not a barber but went to school for it and has stayed around the business for a long time , I would like to see the fade itself more blurry on the sides. I don't know if it's what this guy was going for or not but it seems like the fade jumps from less than a one to a two or so. When I think of a bald fade I think of a skin fade and when I look at the sides no matter how long the top is you shouldn't be able to see any sort of line at all , that's what I mean by blurry. The one thing I will give these Barbara on this channel is a lot of them use scissors a lot more than a lot of Barbers that I have seen. I feel like too many Barbara lean on their clippers instead of making sure that their scissor game is just as good
I get the whole England style where they leave it bulkish on the sides but the transition from bald to a 1 was just terrible. Uneven. Lines everywhere. But otherwise nice job on texturizing. There’s a real easy way to fade I use. Bald him out then lever open blend of out. Then after that use a 1 closed. Not open. When it’s closed it’s less work for the .5 guard. Then 11/2 and then blend that out with a 1 open. Try it out beard brand.
Some constructive criticism here, that fade was really bad there was still a heavy line that needed to be blended in the most important guidelines in a skin fade is everything from the skin guideline to about the #1.5 open one you really have to blend everything in between to have that fade looking nice maybe if he just worked thru the guards instead of doing clipper over comb he might come out with a better blend he was flicking out right too he just needs to work on his lever play and knowing where to set his guidelines and he'll be fine if he happens to read this tell him to watch 5150 cuts tutorials on here (YT) he gets really in depth with them and shows you to how properly clipper over comb too nice shear game tho !
