I love that 🤍🌸 what I did was use a more silky looking hairpiece in front and a more textured one at the back. But texture all around also works well 😁 I’m excited for you.

Hi Maraleee I used yakki braiding hair Infront and fibre braiding hair at the back. Yakki has that smooth silky finish. Do your style up top and do the front part to the side (or anyhow you like). Just keep practising and you'll get it right. Even if it's not exactly like mine it will be similar.

Hi my apologies for that. The hair gel is from a Clicks store brand that we have down in South Africa. It's good for relaxed hair as it's not a strong hold gel and I like that it doesn't flake.

Name of the gel please.... 🙏

The gel I used is the Clicks store brand. Called Freeze Style - Ultra hold. I do not recommend it for course hair or natural hair, only for relaxed hair. It's great though because it does not flake.

My go to hair products is the African pride range & Dark & lovely & also my home made Shea butter. The gel I use is a non flaking gel which has a medium hold since my hair is relaxed. It's the non branded type from a local cosmetics shop.

Definitely for African women. I don't see why you say not black women. This style can actually be done on all types of hair. As an African I do styles for the African women.

@@MissKSA I’m sorry, let me clarify what I meant. I am an American black woman. And anything to do with black people, regardless of where they hail from. Is instrumental in creating unity amongst us. Traveling abroad as a black woman already has its own set of challenges when it comes to the black woman’s hair. So going to a place, where everyone looks like me would be great. But it sounds like if I were to visit your beautiful country. I would only get service if I’m an African. Sounds counterproductive to me.

Oh not at all. Service is provided to all. We have Ubuntu in Africa which is a sense of community meaning our compassion is afforded to all regardless of how you look. I identify with Africa as an African women and so it's natural for me to speak on issues that affect Africans or do hairstyles that I know African people will identify with. That's not to say others are excluded. I would also like to believe that being African is also a matter of identifying with African culture.
