Another very busy visit to Cardiff Station with the Class 37's still the most common motive power to be seen , with Class 31 , 47 , 56 and 60's also being seen.
What a great video, how things have changed !!. Nowadays what freight that passes would be in a 66 hands, dirty American upstarts , no clag ,no class !!. And a chance to see "Oystermouth " running through too, I'm lead to believe that it was a regular in this part of Wales but I'm from Kent and in my days 'gricing' in the 80s 56's were rare and seeing 040 even rarer. Fabulous. Thank you .-bud the painter-
Top notch vid once again! One forgets just how busy that place was eh! . . Nice to see 47536 and 37887 in action as i modelled them! I last went there 20 years ago and knew i probably would'nt be back as the drop in freight was quite frightening! And too many sheds by then eh lol. . . And i just noticed 37702 with rectangular buffers!
Brilliant video, can't understand why I haven't seen this before. Cardiff in the good old days, you can stand on cardiff station these days and see sod all freight for hours, where has it all gone.
