Very amusing little sketch, loving the classics, had 1 or 2 over the years and wishes for a few others. That blue Lancia is very rare in the UK as they rusted away in front of your eyes as soon as you bought it. 90% today after a weekend in hospital having my knee sorted.
Interesting to hear somebody from a different generation going down a line of old vehicles and what excites them! Henry Ford visited Herbert Austin, later Lord, and discussed mass production and production machinery with him. Austin designed his own machine tools and was advanced in the concept of mass production. He and Ford respected each other and America was not the sole projector of mass production by any means and people like Citroen and Renault in France also had a hand in the pie at that period.
I wonder if any of them ie., the police car were the ones we used on Heartbeat and The Royal . There were a group of car enthusiasts that used to bring their cars up to Goathland and Scarborough when we were filming .
Cracking Skit from Lucky day NEVER fail to amuse use into buying a ticket 😂😂 great vintage cars auction there ❤ all the Fords but would buy the Toyota IF I had the spare cash JUST for it’s rareness 🤞🏻😃

Grey yesterday but got 115% due to an unexpected trip to Largs. 11 yellow cars (including another yellow Morris Minor Traveller, 4 orange and one purple. I think the black and white "I don't know what that is" at 3:20 is a very over-restored Citroen Light 11 or Light 15. I'm a Citroen fan and not sure, particularly with not seeing the bonnet. Just after the Rascal camper, say 7:24, is a Trabant (from East Germany and made of Papier Mache (not joking). Ireland - LOLROFHMS.
I lived in West Berlin before the wall came down. Practically every car in east Berlin was a Trabant (aka Trabbie) and I think all had 2 stroke engines so a bit smelly. Someone told me that if one had a puncture it would be rolled over onto its side to change the wheel rather then being jacked up. The Unter Den Linden (the man in road in the east) is very wide and cars parked in the middle on the road as well as either side. I saw a Trabbie suddenly start rolling from the middle of the road parking and then trundle off down the road, no one in it, I guess the handbrake wasn’t on or it gave up the ghost.
