drop-dead knockout, stunning, full off frame restored (with photo CD disk), 1971 Chevrolet C10. This truck was sold new at Campbell Bishop Chevrolet in Corte Madera, California in April of 1971… 50 years old and looks better than ever!
This C10 spent its entire rust free life in CA until 2016 when it was purchased in its original 47,417 original mile condition, and moved to the great sate of South Carolina where it was treated to a full frame off, and super high quality restoration. Two original build sheets were found in the truck… one in the seat backing and another in the door and both matching the original SPID decal on the back of the glove box door. (which is why the only part left unpainted was the back of the glove box door which you will see in the pictures below is still in original paint).
The restoration 2016/2017 was complete and comprehensive to include the entire original drivetrain (with upgrades), and every nut and bolt, and part was attended to as well. This truck is a 10 from every aspect. The paint, body, and fitment are high show quality. The original 350 engine was rebuilt with upgraded Comp Cam (spec card attached), as well as roller tip rockers, and other internal performance upgrades. The transmission was rebuilt/restored and the factory 12-Bolt rear end with a 3.08 posi gear as well. The Radio is a Classic Vehicle SLIDEBAR. Paperwork includes original owner’s manual, CD disk with pictures before during and after restoration, Cam Spec card, previous CA license plate and copy of CA title stating original miles, 2 factory laminated build sheets, and clear title.
This C10 cranks, runs, drives, handles, and performs just as good as it looks. The new owners are going to be very happy!
