Originally airing from 1952 to 1958, Adventures of Superman ran for 6 seasons and a total of one hundred four episodes. In the series, Superman battles crooks, gangsters, and other villains in the city of Metropolis, while masquerading off duty as Daily Planet reporter, Clark Kent. His colleagues, Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen, and Perry White, often find themselves in dangerous situations that only Superman's timely intervention can resolve.
