I’m a hardcore metalhead that plays nothing but thrash metal and death metal on guitar but I fucking LOVE keytars I always thought they were super cool. I really wanna learn how to play one
This and another video are what pushed me off the edge into the realm of keytars... because I bought this exact model. I grew up with an old Casio FM synth in the 90's and have had many since then. For me personally though, no synth have I enjoyed playing as much as this one. This was my first keytar and will always treasure it... it's just so damn fun to play and sounds great~!

Oxygene 4 By Jean Michel Jarre it wasn't released in the 80s it was released in 1976 and fun fact the instruments used for it were: Arp 2600 modular Keyboard Eminent Organ Minimoog Putney VCS 3 sound mixer Moog Liberation Portable keyboard Moog one Keyboard Theremin
Cool. I got the same keytar but in black. My videos are mosty metal and video game covers. Never thought using the Roland AX Edge for 80's synth stuff 🤔
It's my life goal to have a keytar and be able the play the first song you played exactly the same way. If I don't accomplish that goal I'll die unhappy💀
Ok I know this is a stupid question and no-one will answer this but what's this song that goes " I like it " and then it's a bit that sounds like some high notes on a keytar. Please if someone can help
I made the choice of buying the Yamaha shs-300 as a first keytar, which is great but I think I need something a bit bigger mainly because the amount that I can play is crippled by the small amount of keys the shs-300 has. Point is, I desperately want a AX edge
oxygene by Jean Michelle Jarre was 1976, so not an 80's riff. This is one of those albums that even if you haven't heard it, you have. And it was the inspiration for everything that came after it. well worth the listen after all these years. muse - knights of cydonia is 2006.
