i absolutely loved making this pretty necklace, i made it with faceted jet rondels, AB crystals with gold and silver seed beads, it looked amazing and i got so many lovely comments about it, i loved the look on peoples faces when i told them i'd made it. i really love these tutorials and so glad i've found Gina's web site.
+Psychosis The Artist I am happy you like it, it is one of my favorites. I need to sit down and design more Crystal designs like this one. Thank you for watching and commenting ♥️
Thank you, this is beautiful and not too long at all. You take the time to explain exactly what you are doing and why, so longer is better. I'm going to take a look at the bracelet you mentioned.
I know my comment comes way after this was first posted but, Gina, I am absolutely blown away by this project and am super impressed you were designing on the fly! The necklace is stunning and so elegant. I've bought my beads etc and will be jumping into my project very soon. Clearly you love what you do. It inspires me to be as diligent about the little details, such as following the thread path and making use of thread bridges and half hitch knots - all of which lead to making a piece that is professionally finished and, in my humble opinion, can't be faulted. I aspire to be as neat as you are and hopefully one day I'll be just as creative. Isn't it wonderful that, in this time of things being so easily available to us off the shelf, there are those who still want to make beautiful things that one can be proud to wear and have people admire? You have a gift which I am truly grateful you are gracious enough to share here on RU-vid. The length of the videos don't bother me at all. For me, they're better than watching the inane output on TV, and are far more productive. You are so blessed. I understand you also do things for Facebook but I don't have an account there so I hope I'm not missing too much. May you continue to produce many more wonderful pieces. I have subscribed and look forward to future postings.
Hi Kimmy, so happy to have you subscribe! I am glad you enjoy the videos, this one in particular, is one of my favorites. I design on the fly in my videos quite often, that way I can be lazy and not make two! LOL...big projects take time and I usually don’t have enough time to design and make two of them. So, I get a design started, or get idea and then I start recording it. Thank you for such a nice note. I hope you enjoy this one. I am glad long videos don’t bother you, I have several😁💕
Gina, thank you so much for this very detailed tutorial. I said I was going to make this necklace last year. It didn't happen. One thing after another and never got to it. Well, I just finished making it for a friend's birthday. I used sapphire and light topaz shimmer bicone beads and it came out beautiful. Thank you for those long tutorials -- it makes quite a difference when you're working on your project and have to scroll back to re-check the step you're doing. Love your videos. Will try another project soon.
+Chi Li you are very welcome, I appreciate your appreciation! Your necklace sounds beautiful. I am glad the long videos are good for you. It just makes it easier for me to include everything, that way I am not writing novels in the comments section to explain what I left out. Thank you for the nice comment!
I love this! I only just discovered you this evening. Wow I will be watching more in the future. I did not think this was to long. You are so creative!
Almost done with the necklace. Made with bugle beads. I didn't have enough 8/0's so i used bugle beads to set the 4mm bicones. I'll post pictures when it's ready on your page. Thank you for sharing this amazing design. Lots of love from Norway
Class! I like very much your tutorials and, by the way for me - the longer they are, the better. So precise explain - I never did mistake following you. Thank you, Gina, for being so talented.
You know Gina, sometimes you beautiful people don't know the good you do with all these tutorials you post. You are putting smiles on faces and blessing so many hearts when you share your creativity. I have been following your tutorials and I have learnt a lot from you. I have improved tremendously on my own just by watching. Now I make extra income to cater for my aged mum and younger siblings. Please keep doing what you're doing. God will continue to exalt your works and shower you with good health. You will live long enough to enjoy the fruits of all your labour. The anointing of knowledge and wisdom for creative ideas will never run dry in your life. You will continue to go places. And just so you know, each of the beads I make from your tutorials, I attach the name Gina to the collection. You're my beading Heroine. Thank you and God Bless you!
+nyzkrafts F'n'P OH, you are very sweet! I appreciate your kind words! I am very happy to have helped you earn extra income. It is a great compliment to know my teaching is actually helping people in some way. Thank you for the very nice comment!
I Love the length of your video's ~ Because it's exactly the way we are going to have to do them if we want to achieve the same " Beautiful & Elegant " Necklace that is presented here. Love Your Video's !!! So Beautiful Gina !
Thank you, I feel like the video just comes out the length it needs to be. If I need to explain something, I think is important, I just do it. If the video is long, I try not to worry about it too much.💕
I love this piece, and I love the long videos! I speed the settings up to 1.5 times normal speed so I can watch it through quickly, then slow it back down to normal to actually follow along while making a piece, or even slow to half speed so I can leisurely bead. If complainers learn how to adjust their speed settings maybe they can be happy too!!😍
So So So Very Very BEAUTIFUL & I didn't mind at all the length of the Video coz the Tutorial on this Elegant & at Times Complicated Pattern need the explanation! U did it Very Well! I Absolutely Loved this Gorgeous Beautiful NECKLACE & THANK U Very Much for SHARING!
Gina you have a very profession voice and technique on your videos. I also must compliment you on hands and nails for your tutorials. they are always clean and manicured. you are truly a professional in all ways. thank you
Gina, it is very unique and fancy project. You don't have to apologize. You have been spending time to teach us how to make a wonderful piece of work. Your instructions have been easy to follow. I have enjoyed watching the video.
So Pretty !! Hahahaaa.. Ah come on Gina, You can fit through there if You try hard enough. !.. So Funny. I truly enjoy Beading along with you ~ It Usually Brightens My Day. !!!
Vedanta, I cannot reply to your comment so I will do it here. Please watch the classic crystal bracelet to see how to use 4mm bicones in the embellishments you may need to use seed beads on either side of the 4mm bicones to make them longer and be able to do the same embellishments as would be done with the 6mm crystals. Use 11/0s to do that. Use the same stead beads I do in the video for the test of it. Please do watch the bracelet tutorial to learn how to place the 4mm bicones on each unit.
And another beautiful piece. And contrary to what you said at the beginning of the tutorial, I believe the component and the ladder stitch connector is very obvious to the bracelet and earrings as a set! As soon as I have enough 6mm bicones, I plan to try this one as a gift for my Aunt. She LOVES bling and chunky. This should satisfy the bling! thanks again for all you do. Hope you and the family are well.
Hi, it is wonderful viewers like you that help me feel as if my videos are appreciated, thank you for that! And I think you are right, had I done this one in the same color crystals as the bracelet and earrings, it would be a more obvious set. Thanks for the nice comments, I always am happy to see my "regulars" in the comment box. Merry Christmas!
BRAVO, Gina...This is a fantastic video. I will start on this very soon. By the way, the length of this video doesn't bother me at all since I believe that the jewelry I make will be something I will treasure for a very long time so the longer videos are well worth it...KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!! I LOVE IT.
Thank you Carolyn, I've stopped worrying about the length of the videos. Nice viewers. Like you appreciate. The fact that it takes time to creat larger pieces. I appreciate your nice comment...have fun making this one, it turns out gorgeous!

Hi Sylvie! I thought you might like this one. Bling, bling, bling! Thank you for your constant support and kindness, I appreciate it! Have fun my dear.
Brilliant tutorial, I like all the detail. Good to have the extra tips for attaching new fire line. Given the complexity of the design, it would be difficult to make your tutorial shorter. Thank you for sharing your skills and beautiful designs.
I love it!!!!!! Please advise what videos to watch as a beginner for this project before I start making it, It is almost like sawing. I make jewelry but have nit used this technique. And thank you so... much for the length of this video. It is a tedious project but totally worth it so for people like me need this lengthy video. AA++++ for the creativity!!!!
Oksana Brown Thank you, I am happy you like it. I recommend doing a search for ladder stitch and basic right angle weave. or just try following the video. Some people are able to make the projects even as beginners, as I show how to do the stitches as I show the project.
Beautiful. I'm wondering what kind of silver bead do you use. Are they real silver? What brand of swarsky crystal do you buy. Where do you buy you supplies
Yes, thread burners are great, I just keep forgetting to get one. I like the way lighters blob the ends, the Fireline curls up and makes a "knot" that can't slip through the beads...either way works.
Gina this is beautiful and your color selection is perfect. I saw a video of you making a necklace using peanut bead in the chain area, I can't find it now that I have the beads would you please tell me the name of it? Thanks, I'll keep watching.
Hi Gina, WOW and you it created while moving e.t.c. Its beautiful. While I was watching this vid, I was completing my bracelet. I used Czech fire polish glass beads - Dark Topaz AB. with 8/0 and 11/0 Light Topaz silver lined seed beads. Looks great. I don't have enough 6 mm fire polish to do the necklace so I am going to try using pearls. I might use some 4mms and alternate them in the squares with 6mm pearls. Or I could use a variety of different beads. I even thought of doing my bracelet with 3 squares then join them together. I think you will agree that there are many ways of doing this design. The only thing that would stop you is your own imagination. Thanks Gina for this fantastic basic design. If you are having trouble moving all your bead stock - I have a great idea - send them to me!. Then you don't have to worry about moving and finding new places for them at your new house. Looking forward to your next fantastic creation. As always in Friendship Chris from OZ.
Hi Chris, you are funny, I think I will keep my beads, I am a bead hoarder and I don't let them go easily! LOL, I even have a hard time sending them off when I sell them, ha! Anyway, I agree, there are so many ways this design can be used. Imagination should have no limits here! I love that you can see so many possibilities. Would love to see your bracelet! Have fun with it!
Gina's Gem Creations Hi Gina, The funny thing about beads and beading is that not only does it take over your life but it has a way of taking over your house. I keep thinking may be I should add another room (the size of church hall) just to house the containers full of beads. I'm not on face book so I am not sure how I could show you my work. My daughter is on face book, I will see if I can do it on hers. I will make several different designs from this one design as soon as I can. Good luck with the move. As always in Friendship Chris from OZ.
Yes, beading is an all consuming thing...I have been trying to find unique ways to organize, I hate clutter! I need a church hall too. Unfortunately they won't accommodate:) Yes please try to send pics, I would love that.
