Yea i love them too. Esp the sheer formulas. My faves are rose and shine, pink truffle, berry smoothie, and pink velvet. They are all so pretty. The packaging looks pretty nice too. When i bought other drugstore lipsticks i was surprised by how chintzy they felt. The revlon is my moms favorited too she loves the shade gold pearl plum.

My grandma wore Cherries in the Snow for 40+ years and on her deathbed was asking for us to get her tube of it out of her purse even though she could barely talk. Then after she passed we found hundreds of tubes of it in her house

My gramma's favorite color was "Wine in the Afternoon" in the pearl finish, and I wear it as a tribute to her to this day. I remember her putting it on dozens of time using the flip-up mirror in her old white Cadillac. Thank you for bringing up that memory! Lots of love to you, Emily!

I have a vivid memory of my grandma wearing reckon pearl lipsticks and I was trying to nail down the color looking at them all. Since she also had a white Cadillac I made sure to review this color and I believe this is it. I’m in Los Angeles the day before Xmas Eve with tears in my eyes leaving to hunt for this color as a tribute to my Grandma this holiday! 🥹🥹 This is what Xmas is all about! Yesss!!! I'm almost 65 years young, and wore Toast Of New York along with MAC Paramount all the time as a young Mom of 2 little ones. I was somewhat Goth fused with Grunge as someone who had been fiercely Punk Goth during the late 70's well into the 80's. Only took it down a notch because I was dealing with having IEP meetings for my firstborn who was and is on the Autism Spectrum. Now he's 37 and a airport limo driver, so I suppose tuning my dial down a notch was a wise decision in order to be taken seriously and get him all he needed. But, I do still love Revlon Toast Of New York and MAC Paramount even now! For the new shades, I'm loving the reds, the deep berry and the last one, too.

When I went through serious financial hard times I ALWAYS counted on Revlon Super Lustrous lipstick to cheer me up and make me feel and look better. Life’s better now but Revlon lipstick still gives luxury quality at drugstore prices. ❤ Candied Rose is going on my list along with Daylight Delight and Laidback Lilac!

I'm actually going through serious financial hardship right now. I've actually been able to rethink how ridiculous the cost of high end brands nowadays!! It's insane, Estee Lauder is so pricey. I've gone back to drugstore products, less than $10 for powder versus $50 is sensible. Even when my situation improves I will gladly and sensibly pay less than $6 for Revlon lipstick and not $38! My grandmother uses Revlon all her life.

OMG! I’ve been looking for a deep red lipstick 💄 for 50 years (seriously, just turned 72 this week) and in this video you mentioned “Porto Please.” As soon as I saw the shade I ordered it but had realistic expectations. Fire & Ice, Rum Raisin, Pink Velvet, Wine With Everything, and Cherries in the Snow; Those shades are my staples. As long as I can keep getting those shades, my lip wardrobe is ready for anything! But WOW am I tempted by a couple of those new shades. Thank you so much for still giving so much love to Super Lustrous! It's been my favorite bullet lipstick formular for more years than I care to count. And I've been worried they were going to disappear from the market :)

I really appreciate that with these new colors it’s adding more nuance with color and undertones to the Revlon collection. Just makes the brand have more wearable options for everyone no matter what undertone you have. If this part of how Revlon has course corrected to maintain relevancy in the drugstore makeup scene and get them out of bankruptcy and start to turn a profit then I’m loving it. They need to bring back the lip butters, those solid glossy ones they just discontinued and the matte lip stain sticks from back in the day!!

Pink in the Afternoon is my favorite Revlon lipstick. I bought a new shade 801 After Glow. I thought this shade is beautiful. It has a lovely sheen to it that is unique and glowy. Thanks for trying all these lipsticks on. You can wear them all beautifully. Candied Rose looked especially pretty on you.

In the ‘90’s, I wore Coffee Bean lipstick every day all day until I took it off at night. Coffee Bean is a red based brown with a silver finish. So unique. Lately, I was missing it and have been wearing it every day. Just suits my coloring. Thank for doing this video. So nostalgic.

I feel like those deeper shades are perfect with a big thick chunky black sweater, hair up w/a simple but extreme wing liner. No eyeshadow, but add lashes, contour & bronzer. No blush or highlighter. 💋

My one super lustrous pearl lipstick (Wild Orchid) is noticeably sheerer than the crème lipsticks too! Maybe it's just how the formula is. The pearl reflects mean there isn't as much pigment per swipe? Still gorgeous on though!

LOVE this! I am a true Revlon lipstick girl. Teak Rose was a go-to for me for years (sort of between the 2nd and 3rd color you sampled) but I can’t find it in stores anymore…bought a tube on Amazon…it’s ever so slightly warmer now, which is less flattering on me. That “Lilac” color looks like a promising replacement! Can’t beat Cherries in the Snow and Fire & Ice for bright vintage reds! Bombshell Red and Love is On are my favorite tamer reds. Rose Velvet, Sassy Mauve and On the Mauve are in my everyday comfort zone. But lately I’ve been in a bright pink/purple mood…Dramatic and Lovesick (which I haven’t seen in stores recently, grrrr) fit the bill. I think I need to grab the Lilac, the Rose, and the Electric Melon. 3 for less than $20 at Walmart/Target…Revlon Super Lustrous: the last, best cheap thrill! Thanks for modeling them for us! Gorgeous classic lipsticks that give high-end lipsticks a run for their money! I love Wine With Everything, Certainly Red, Rum Raisin, and Toast of New York-remember the Revlon Revolution commercials with Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, Claudia Schiffer, Shania Twain, and other GenX beauties? I love the newer shades, especially the matte neutrals like Bare Affair and Untold Stories. I am a Revlon girl till the day I die!

Love this! I ran into a display in Walgreens with these. I had points, so I picked up Daylight Delight, Whiskey Business, and Laidback Lilac. LOVE them!!! In going through the regular Super Lustrous display, I DID see that they had some as discontinued. I grabbed one on clearance called (I think) On the Mauve. Very similar to Laidback Lilac. So… they MIGHT be discontinuing a few shades to make room.

My OGs in the 70s were Toast of New York and Wine with Everything. I also worr the matching blushes. I'm now in my 60s and I wear a variety of shades...Rum Raisin, Violet Frenzy, Sassy Mauve, and Cherries in the Snow are probably the ones I wear the most. My mother wore the OG reds back when they first came out and throughout her whole life. Her very favorite red was Love That Red. Thanks for the demos. I will try a couple of these. I just realized I have a problem because I own over 45 lip products. I haven't counted until now.😂 Maybe I'll wait to try these.

My all time favorite lipstick color of life, from any brand, was Revlin’s BlackBerry. I was *devastated* when they discontinued that one. Black Cherry is the closest I’ve come to it, but it’s just not the same. But I love a good coral so I’ll definitely pick up the new ones!

@@emilynoel83I miss the Lip Butters too, especially Pink Truffle. I looked on Amazon and found it in Super Lustrous Sheer formula (I didn’t know they had Sheer) and just received it yesterday. The color is spot-on to my precious nub of the lip butter, but the texture isn’t nearly as creamy. (It feels similar to one of the less-opaque Super Lustrous shades.) FWIW, Berry Smoothie was still listed when I ordered my Pink Truffle last week. Hope that helps!

Such a fun video! I love the revlon cream lipstick formula. My guess is that Revlon has already discontinued some of the less popular shades because they've been showing up at my Dollar Tree in the fall. I got the shade rose wine which is a beautiful brick red. One thing I've noticed is that the Revlon lipsticks I've had in the past last a really long time, like way past expiration date which is great when you pick shades that are not every day such as bright red.

I think Fire Peach looked gorgeous on you Emily They all looked wonderful on you, you have a great lip shape, and the kind of colouring that allows you to wear many different colours. As you said almost a Classic Neutral. Have you ever had your colors done? Are you a classic Winter maybe? But I think Whiskey Business, Fire Peach and Wild Saffron were some of my favorites on you . That's actually a hotly debated topic in makeup history, and there have been tons of articles written about it. Lisa Eldridge actually bought her ACTUAL lipstick from that scene at a Christie's auction in London, and she said it wasn't PiTA, but another brand that began with the letter "R", possibly a French brand that does not exist any more. The case was actually a solid gold one, and Revlon cases have always been either black and gold (Super Lustrous) or Green and Gold (the old Moon Drops formulation). Makeup history is fascinating!

Love when you do lipstick try-ons!!! I love Blushed, and my mother wore Fire and Ice and Love That Red in the 50s and the 60s. I’ve worn so many of these over the years. They used to have an old school lipstick smell, which I loved.

I was always a red lip gal, looking my best in orangey reds. But being 63 now, I find them to be a little harsh looking, so I went the Coral route and enjoy them so much so that Dirty Shirley, ( what a name) would be a good winter coral for me. I'm a red and cool toned lip in winter, paler and coral in spring, and rich "my lips but better" and play with anything in summer! These new shades look like fun - thanks do much for the try-on! An early Christmas present! Have a wonderful holiday!

My all-time favorite is Toast of New York! A few months ago I bought Extra Spicy, which says on the packaging that’s it’s new (don’t know how new) and I like it just as much! I’d say it’s a little less brown than Toast of New York.
