Stephanie this is outstanding. Your skills as a researcher, producer, narrator and interviewer have gone from strength to strength. La Mirande is extraordinary and beautiful, and your engaging exposition of it should be very welcome to the proprietors. Charming and impressive, (and I am not given to superlatives). 🇦🇺

This was MAGNIFICENT! Beyond opulent, rich, and beautiful- yet refined. Not gaudy whatsoever. I can imagine myself ordering at the bar, maybe a gin and tonic, and sitting in the alcove looking out to the historic buildings or into the courtyard. The corridors themselves make me want to pull up a table and have biscotti and espresso or affogato within them. This is one for the memory bank, Stephanie! I hope to visit here someday. Thank you and the entire team for creating this and teleporting me to La Mirande in Avignon for half an hour. It will now be on my list of places to visit and I will check that box someday! ~ Maxximo Morabito

The attention to the smallest detail was apparent. And, what was apparent to this viewer, not all framed objects d'arte where exactly aligned, conveying a feeling of a comfortable, not so fussy, opulence. The blown glass used throughout is another detail that takes the mind to another place in another time, or dimension.

Fabulous. One revelation after another, ceilings to walls to windows to floors. There will be a rush for "old glass", employing the "reverse" pattern of upholstery and curtain fabric, toile "faux silk", sewing together the border fabric, etc. What a great interview. Mr. Stein's attention to detail is so inspiring and humbling. The eye of an artist combined with the training of a scientist. I am so taken with the colors. Thank you, Stephanie. A visit to La Mirande is now on the post-Covid dream list.

The painting you admired at the 21 minute mark was something that caught my eye, also. I think the placement on that wall is what is really striking. It's a window wall and there is a window in the painting, but it's almost like you're looking into the next room--a hidden room--where she's sitting by the window. I'm not sure if I'm explaining it well, but it really is intriguing.

I was shown magnificent French paneling stored in a basement, 10:32 architectural salvage from a French chateau that had been demolished. The antique, hand carved paneling, of the highest quality, was a work of art, to be being installed in someone's offices, or a residence, I forget which, but the fact is that it was "saved" gave me a great feeling. Another set of paneling has been saved and moved to it's third installation. The buildings may fall, but the paneling lives on.

Just splendid, I love all fabrics and wallpapers, the man is a best interior designer naturally born. The paintings and everything are perfect. I wish I could live there.

Gorgeous! I had to "Print screen" more often than ever -- yes, I confess, I do it while watching Lalande also. So I can go back and be reminded of the beauty that passed too quickly. As the vlog title is superimposed on the picture, I can go back to a specific episode and rewatch the whole thing. Stephanie -- your vlogs are the definition of "Content"!!!

The owner was so very kind to show his hotel and to tell you sooo many design tips and tricks. I learned so much and am thinking as your tour continues where I can use these ideas. I think I have enjoyed this Sunday the most.

Yes it is very expensive but the French patrimony is honored by this restoration. Stephanie do a great job in her Château de Lalande. I hope she will be rewarded by a Legion d'honneur medal. It is the minimum France could to a person who save a part of the French history like Stephanie in Lalande
