I've seen something similar in a more recent video of some going all the way to the top, jumping off and then l3aving combat, like a gauntlet of some sorts.
I had received one from my friend and for that reason I had it in my inventory for a very long time and used it quite a bit for screenshots and stuff. I also started very early so my OG backpack is filled with memorable items and the like. Well, I stopped in Shadowlands because god damn.
Everyone has so many addons installed, maybe its just me, but when u cant see the damn screen anymore, because its so cluttered, isnt that counterproductive?
Watching this rogue at 1:37 open his bag looking for his petrification potion while stealthed when he literally has two massive buttons THAT HE PUT on the corner of his screen for the sole purpose of escaping dungeons... god. The gears are turning, but nothing is happening. 10 whole seconds.
It's for a quest that has you overlook the city. In order to complete it you just need to get to the top of the tower. You can then jump down to escape the mobs. And then finally there's a shot of your character suddenly wearing black sunglasses, looking cool as fuck while they're running away without looking back while the tower explodes!
So the last person to leave a raid group doesnt get to leave, the group just disbands and said person does not get ported out... what happens to that oerson in a mass petri situation? They just die? Is it a race to not be the last to leave?
I know in classic WoW in dungeons you can invite someone random then drop group even without them accepting and it will port you out, probably something similar in raids
because far less people play horde in hardcore, objectively worse faction in vanilla because it doesnt have paladins and paladins are better not just in general but also because they make you safer in dungeons/raids, more HP with kings, salvation for less threat, and of course the lifesaving bubbles. On the other hand shamans only spike up your risk with windfury procs taking threat while tank gets bad RNG on windfury.
Turtle wow has a hardcore community as well. Play with modify and better talents, High elf for alliance and Goblin for Horde, each with their new starting zones, new rep grinds and new items. New raids, etc, etc, etc.
They should leave it in but... 1) Reduce the duration to 10 seconds 2) Give it a 60 minute cooldown Now people can't use it to roach out of dungeons/raids, but it still has a use
So a whole raid deserves to die because someone else fucked up mechanics? I died because 2 others couldn’t be bothered to exit the stack when they got plague. Then my petri wore off. And got clapped in the 3 seconds before the portal would have happened. Nah dude. Get over it. Let’s see you even play the game lmao.
@moonsalt3167 Bitch what is the point of Hardcore then? Just leave the party and Petri??? The amount of people that can't time it is insane considering it's the most broken item in that gamemode
If you join a raid with 39 others you know the risk, if you dont want to risk it dont do it. Why is bubble hs illegal in hc its the same Without petri ppl wouldnt even see aq/naxx from inside so powerful it is
It is by most definitions a bad game mode. The biggest thing it has going for it though is that doing anything is hardcore feels completely different than normal vanilla because the stakes are incomparably higher. It's a unique way to enjoy the game especially for people who want to experience vanilla WoW in a fresh way
What’s the point of hardcore? That is the worse game mode of any game I’ve ever played. Especially with WoW I wish I had the patience to play HC just to wipe people. but I don’t.
