@@marcogoncalves3207 I believe he actually had closer to 500 hours on that character. He was guild master of "The Exiles", currently, the leading progression guild on Skull Rock. He probably had a brain-fart and it killed him.

@@coolspider295 Not a great raidleader. Doesn't tell tank to pull the mobs way back not to aggro boss. Late call on leave group + petri. Takes forever to realize he isn't in a group anymore even though his Vudho just went all offline(addon doesn't update properly in combat). Has all the time in the world to double petri because of paladin bubble but still manages not to find his petri in his bars. And it's not like he is doing anything, he is not making any calls or BoPing someone, he is just running around like a headless chicken.

@@marcogoncalves3207 The raid leader and guild leader were different people in this instance. You should have been able to tell by comms and by watching the video. I think you are a bit confused. If you can't even make this inference, I am not sure you should be commenting on gameplay.

@@lel90you're not wrong, he wasn't stunned though. He was just standing there looking for his petri for like 5 seconds before actually getting spun. Add to that the like 20 seconds since the boss pull where all he did was press bubble and leave group, he had a ton of time to find the petri and apparently didn't.

The Rogue and Warrior and plenty of other clips from these compilations are proof that keybinds =/= skill. Likely they didn't know it was immune until after the first frost nova, at that point they just panicked and ran hoping it would reset, considering nothing else went on cd on the little video skip it seems the mob just refused to reset, so he was doomed as early as aggroing it.

It's one of the knowledge checks HC players fail. Though it's not entirely their fault. Since Cataclysm these mobs and others have been "normalized" and are solo'able. So, retail players who never played vanilla and TBC are caught of guard.

@@70mavgr In retail even raid bosses are soloable, you don't see mages running into MC to try to solo Rag in vanilla. By the time you reach even level 15 in vanilla you learn that elites are dangerous, and you should have an escape plan ready in case you can't solo. If someone is a high level and still doesn't know that, they're just a failure and deserve to die. This was just the stupidity gained from playing a frost mage and having it easy until you don't have it easy. The dumbest things in vanilla are always done by a frost mage, they never learn the game just sit around AoE farming. It is ENTIRELY their fault.

not 100% i don't think. neutral mobs generally behave differently, in the open world if you fear a neutral mob into another it won't social, but in zf (and i guess dungeons in general) they do. so maybe he didn't know. i definitely remember having to learn that back in original vanilla when i first did the scarab room. that room became more common knowledge when people learned about the zf mage farm but not everyone leveled a mage in vanilla classic.

Man, I barely play healers, never on raid level, but I still know you should have either healbot or mouseover macros, otherwise you're worse that clickers, since DPS clickers at least don't have to click their target before every cast.

That's an Arms Warrior, its the warlock's fault for getting the team killed. Even if he Shield Walled, it wouldn't have changed the situation with how many scarabs there were and how the rest of the group was reacting.
