Thanks. I wished I had more time there and less people as I could have easily made a video over 3 hours long but many people prefer the shorter stuff. Thanks for watching and the feedback. Really appreciated.
Thanks for the comments about my Rover 600, I had the link sent to me yesterday great video of the show I’ve now seen what I missed when I was there for 3 days! I’ve subscribed see you again I hope.
Went yesterday which is about the fifth visit. Maybe its me but every other time I have visited I almost have needed to been kicked out at 6.00pm so much to see, but this time I was done by 4.00pm. Did not seem as much as other years.
I usually only go to the restoration show in March. Cheaper and still enough to enjoy. I would have also been done by the afternoon if I wasn’t filming a lap then doing the circuit again. Thanks for watching.
Did anyone else see The Beast? It's silver now and has a Rolls-Royce front again! It was over by all the Lotuses and Lancias when i was here on Sunday.
The Gordon Keeble that blue is lovely. The saw the red one at York in September again a lovely car and colour. Love the Interceptors. What beautiful examples. I saw the white xjs c and black xjs pre he at Wentworth Woodhouse back in August. I saw the Vista Orange Escort estate at Ripon back in July lovely colour scheme. Enjoyed the walk around and some many lovely cars on show. Thank You.
Great video. I am on that show with my Dads club; FSOC and his Ford Prefect export reg LOV 526. Glad you got round to filming the stand at 55:25 ! We're back tomorrow - we took a day off today.
Thanks for the video, never been to the classic car show at the NEC, you have sold it to me, I will make a piont of going next year. How much was the entry fee ?
It is one of the most expensive at £40 per adult (online) and does put some people off. Parking at the NEC is also usually expensive. I always park at the railway station as it is a bit cheaper and you only need to go up the escalator and along the elevated walkway into the NEC. Thanks for watching and your comment.
i think they should have used more halls, i went around on the saturday and it was rammed, lots of lovely cars got scratched, half the stuff you couldnt get near, i didnt like, you couldnt pay cash for anything either it was all through the nec card system, even a can of coke, so they marked it all up!
I showed my MG Metro last year at that show and didn’t have any issues or hear anything either. I agree though if it is busy and you can’t see the cars you’ve paid the money for…
I was there Saturday, havent been for 15 odd years,i was shocked to see what they classify as a classic these days.A volvo xc 90,and a lot of 90's cars,a bit disappointing really, especially when you've laid out £50 odd quid for the privilege of looking at ,no more than a dealers forecourt, and as for prices nowadays, nothing is cheap.
There were some newer cars yes. I don’t mind although as it is a ‘classic motor show’ I really want to look at the older stuff. I hadn’t been for years either as it’s too expensive. I prefer the restoration show in March… and it’s cheaper. Thanks for watching and your comment.
