Glad to see the comments pointing out Opie doing well when he does. I know his shit isn't the same and Ant And Jim did the bulk of the comedy, but here, Opie is clearly the foil and he handles it well

This is a strong example of opie being funny and good for the show. He really makes this bit great, he knows how to paint ant as an outsider/creep in a story.

Opie pretending he assaulted rival frat houses, he's just seen this happen in movies. No way he ever attended keg parties with sorority girls, he has no girl stories like ant and jim. Far as I can tell he's never had close friends, he never talks about any of them like jim and ant. He used to hang around with his staff members and now the only friends you see him with are occasional get togethers with his 10 listeners. The man is a chronic liar trying to appear normal.
