Peanut brittle is as old school as you can get, but it is just sooo good. And homemade peanut brittle is exponentially better than the stuff you can buy at the store. My grandma used to make a lot of different candies, and I learned how to make them from her. I make English toffee every year to give to my mom as part of her birthday gift. But I haven't made peanut brittle in years, but it really is delicious 😋😋.

I have tasted many brands of the store bought and homemade, but yours has lots of love and care in it.The taste is airy, crunchy, and oh so delicious. Hey Donna you bring it back some great memories my mother used to make that peanut brittle and she also used to make pecan brittle and we couldn't touch that because she will crush that up and put over top of her ice cream

Do try the pecans they are great. I’m 72 yrs old and when I was a young kid we didn’t have peanut but plenty pecans. My mother and later in life my wife made this. They put the pecans on biscuit pan in the oven at 350 degrees for 5 mins preheated. Then mom would let them cool for 6 hrs the best I remember. Then someone would cut the into smaller pieces. She would add them like you do your peanuts. I hope you enjoy like we did years ago and todays time. Bless you to share.
Gurl, gurl!!!!!!! I just made this and sat this on the stove to cool. My house smells like kettle corn popcorn yummy. I changed out 1 tsp of vanilla for 1 tsp of butter extract. I was able to mix mine in the pot. I put it in the oven like you said and allowed it to spread out by itself. I didn’t have to shake it or anything just let gravity do it’s thing. I can’t wait to try it out. Your recipe is easy peasy. Thank you for sharing with us.
I love peanut brittle. My mom made the best brittle. She do it in her big cast iron skillet. She make it all in one pan then pour it on old fashioned cookie pans. Only she never put kosher salt on it. That sounds so good. I will have to try & do that. YUM! Have a blessed week!😋 ✌️👍🤗💖
