Classic Plastic Model Show 2024 

this was our 11th time going to the show, always a great time meeting up with old and new friends, glad you guys enjoyed watching

this was out 13th time going to the Classic Plastic show always a good time there

it's a good show to attend this was out 11th time there and yes that was VW camper, cheers guys

yes I had 3 models entered in the show (picked up 1 first place and 2 second place awards), quick trip to the USA and it was great weather, warm and sunny, thanks bro for dropping in

did you notice that most are old guys like me, not many kids (or young people) are building, yes we had a good time (short time being only 2 nights at the cabin) catching up with friends at the show and eating at 2 real good restaurants

@@craigbetts1586 That’s because all the young boys spend ALL their spare time staring at a screen of some sort . It is too bad they are missing out on really actually doing something .

I think you and I are in the same age group when growing up, playing outdoors, 2or3 channels on TV and building plastic models, much simpler time

@@craigbetts1586 Simply times and better times I figure. Will be 65 toward the end of October. Not only just 2 or 3 channels, but everything in B&W too!! LOL

@@wendingourway yes I forgot it was all B/W TV's back then, I'm going on 70 (retired at 62), give Otis a pat on the head for me

hi Anna, this was the 2nd time staying at the Pride cabins it is a nice place (plus off season prices, they closes the end of Oct. for the winter) this is one of the best model shows to attend, lots to see and kits to buy.......we had a great time as always, glad you enjoyed watching the vid, take care and have a good weekend....craig

@@FXWalesAnnaAlf it's our Thanksgiving long weekend so I'll be cooking a small turkey on Sunday and have leftovers for Monday, I don't think the you do this in Wales?

here in Canada "Michaels" carries very little and there are still a few sticks/bricks small hobby shops, most is the on-line....in the US you have Hobby Town and Hobby Lobby (we stopped there on the way down) besides small hobby shops but going to shows you get a good selection at the swap from club members selling what kits they bought one time and then later don't want, I usually use car auto paint (hard to find the hobby now) and for my figures acrylics
