Wonder if all the Alan Parsons albums were right off the masters. I remember seeing Friendly Card for sale when that came out. I know it wasn't cheap, but still regret not grabbing it. The one record store I went to had these pressings in their own section.
Thanks for sharing that interesting information about the different sources you used to compare to the remasters you've made, along with the input of some of the actual artists working with you -- and for using a camera that keeps everything sharp, including the background. Some of these YT vids use different camera settings, and the result wreaks havoc on the eyes by being blurred in the background and sharp in the foreground, both at the same time -- causing a kind of vertigo effect.

I really enjoyed the explanation on the mastering process you went through with Bernie Grundman & the comparison copies Classic records used to better the original versions your company put out. The Alan Parson story was impressive. Especially the part where Alan Parsons had no clue on the UHQR LP Version from 1983. F.Y.I. I just rec'd this new video update today. Great video. Early Contemporary (jazz) label would always compare side by side the original master tape with the final vinyl master for sound accuracy.
Michael, thank you for the great video. Can I buy a copy of that from you to add to my MH collection (OK, it's 7 albums of from your Play collection and this would make it 8. The guy on ebay that sells them is a jerk with horrible customer service). If I don't ask, I won't know. Thanks.
