Welcome to Sunday Morning Sit Downs! In today's premier, I take the viewers on a tour of my classic Scooby Doo cartoon collection. This video was much longer than I intended, but sit back, relax, and enjoy the show!
Scooby doo where are you season 3 DID first air under the scooby doo where are you name. It was part of a block of shows and had no intro as they used one intro for the full block of shows. Then later for syndication they took them plus the dyno-mutt hour and laff a lympics episodes and put them under the name "scooby doo show" They then used the syndication title for all later releases. So yes it is officially the third season even with the syndication added intro.
Laff a Olympics was really a separate show. It's a great show with a number of hanna-barbera characters, a competition type show rather than a mystery. It was scheduled with the Scooby-Doo show second in the US. More like a programming decision, but was not actually The Scooby Doo show. The Scooby-Doo Show, first season is on the Scooby-Doo Dynomutt hour. The third season is titled Scooby-Doo Where are you! Season three, but you are right, in that it is really the third season of the Scooby-Doo Show. The second season of the Scooby-Doo show and Dynomutt have never been released, so far. but there are some second season Scooby-Doo Show episodes on some compilation DVDs. The first season of Scooby-Doo and Scrappy doo, the half hour version that you like, was the first Scrappy-Doo series. The Richie Rich season came after. Hope this helps.
That plain grey background is really dull. It would have been better if you had the DVDs in the back ground. Ss you probably know, there are now new DVDs with the extra episodes from the new Scooby doo movies. Including Sonny and Cher, Jeanie and Josie and the Pussycats among others.
